The well-furnished renovated cottage has an open kitchen-dining-living space that offers a modern contemporary kitchen with an extendable dining table, and a living area with a sofa and a smart connected TV with a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, an integrated oven and microwave oven and a large dishwasher. For the coffee lovers, there’s a filter coffee maker. It also comes with a washing machine and a dryer. Wifi is free and is available throughout the house.
The first-floor has two bedrooms separated by a luxuriously spacious tiled bathroom. The first bedroom has two single beds. The second, a twin bed with traditional French Louis style furnishing. Each bedroom has bedside tables and a chest of drawers and also comes with a misting fan.
The charming converted attic has a double bed under a skylight and an en-suite bathroom. The wooden beams are quite low in places so watch your head! It’s the perfect home for a weekend getaway, a family get together, or a long retreat to unwind and relax.
ABOUT PUYCELSI:
The tourist information centre is at the foot of the village. The village has a grocery shop, post office, book shop, bistro and 3 restaurants. In the summer on Thursdays, there’s a pizza truck that serves delicious pizzas with a French twist. The village square has picnic benches with a stunning view of the local forest-clad hills and the distant Pyrenees mountains. Puycelsi is one of the "most beautiful villages in France".
Besides the vineyards, there are several hiking trails, biking routes, and scenic villages for you to explore.
GETTING HERE:
The nearest train station at Lisle-sur-Tarn or Gaillac which are a 30 minute drive from Puycelsi. There is no regular public transport to the village, but you can arrange one through liO Tarn You can find additional travel information at Parking is available in the village square or behind the village information center. There are also electric charging points for electric cars in the village.
