Aberdaron has two local pubs serving great hearty meals, one with a terrace directly overlooking the beach, tea rooms, a fish bar, an award-winning ice cream parlour and an excellent bakery with a tearoom upstairs. The National Trust interactive visitor centre in Aberdaron promotes the many attractions of the Llyn Peninsula, such as the ancient church of St Hywyn’s in Aberdaron which was the last stopping-off point for pilgrims at Bardsey Island, to the Wales Coastal Path for wonderful walks and nature spotting ideal for those outdoor lovers. Close by are the bustling popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli, there are miles of wonderful beaches to explore with a vast array of water sports on offer across the Llyn Peninsula.
