Damp and dirty
Very neglected and suffering from serious damp problems especially in the two ground floor bedrooms. The back door to the kitchen wouldn’t close properly without my son in law having to bang it closed with his shoulder each time we needed to close it!! It was hard to open the bedroom drawers as handles were missing. Outside shower building lock sticking on the inside which was frightening as my eight year old Granddaughter got locked inside 🙈 There was dust and cobwebs on skirting boards,windows and lamps. Batteries missing from remote controls crockery chipped and cracked. Outside the grass hadn’t been cut in ages, the paintwork to the windows were filthy. I sent a detailed report to Wales Cottages along with photos of the issues and they were very good at responding and arranged for the property to be cleaned on the inside. However, not once did the property owner contact us himself which leaves a lot to be desired!! I have booked a couple of properties through yourselves before and they have always been of a high standard so I was very disappointed with the standard of this property and was disappointed as I paid for my Daughter and her family to join us. The Property is in a great location and just needs to be maintained. I have lost my confidence in booking another property with you as it was a lot of money to spend on a week in a substandard property.
