The cottage style atmosphere was cute and the facility was absolutely spotless! Nothing was within walking distance but to drive to town took no more than 5 minutes. I would recommend this Vrbo to those who are fine not being on the water or in town.

We so enjoyed staying at Country Blue. It was like staying at home away from home. The hosts thought of everything to make sure we felt comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again. The location was absolutely wonderful we were out in the country yet just less then a 5 minute drive to Qualicum Beach and central location to Cathedral Forest. Close to Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay. Two life long friends getting together to sew. Great space. We brought our own folding sewing tables. Lots of electrical outlets, great lighting and space. Very well equipped. Perfect for two. One of us had the bedroom, the other slept on the sofa bed.

Clean & quiet. Hideabed is quite uncomfortable but worked fine for kids. Really nice couple that run the place. No kitchen or laundry, but that was made known in the advertisement. No surprises. Really nice place close to Qualicum.

We loved everything about Country Blue, it was spotless with lovely decor. So much thought and care has gone into this place to make it a great stay. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The special touches provided by Faye were both surprising and endearing. After a tiring journey we were delighted to find cream and sparkling water in the fridge and also a loaf of delicious banana bread waiting for us. We had a 4-night stay at Country Blue suite. Convenient location, good suite size, well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, and much more. The suite was spotless clean, fresh and welcoming, it is also very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the barbecue and outside area. Kids liked this place so much😊 ! There's a complete serenity in the area, lots of fresh air, and wonderful garden. Faye and Don are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely choose it again!
