Great base near the station.
This isn't a run of the mill hotel. It has character and style, and everything is done well. Breakfast was excellent and the lobby had some welcome features, such as free coffee. We really enjoyed our stay.

Superlative stay! How they manage such a comprehensive decorating/marketing scheme as this chapter Arok is beyond me, but it works. Reminds me of a Hard Rock hotel, but it’s a one-off! Great breakfast, highly recommended. Best hotel of our two week stay in France and Italy.

Hotel Arok is great location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. However, it was quite warm out and there was no air conditioning.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. Always took care of our requests. And went out of their way to make sure everything was good. The hotel is clean and our room was a nice size and comfortable. (We got the mid size room) Easy walk to Petite France and not too far to walk to the Cathedral. If you don’t want to walk, you can catch a tram at the train station which is right across the street. Also convenient for day trips to Comar, etc. Lovely setting on the plaza. Variety of shops and restaurants nearby.

Thus hotel exceeded our expectations. Very cute decor. Free drink. Comfortable rooms. Clean. Quiet. Across the street from train station. Restaurants around the corner. Safe for walking. Little gem near the central station
Staff are very freindly. We got upgraded to a bigger room. Love the boutique gym and sauna. Breakfast area is very clean and variety offered is good for European standard.

Very nice hotel
Very comfortable hotel. Newly renovated and very close to both train station and old town centre. Precinct felt both vibrant and safe with many cafes and restaurants very nearby. Hotel had many nice touches including very nice breakfast and free coffee and tea station available at all times with croissants free to snack on. Extremely happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend.

Property is well located with friendly staff, looks comfortable on the surface until the 2 bakery’s start baking at 2:30am. Noise and smell continues to atleast 9am in the morning. You would think that fresh pastry’s and bread cooking would be a nice smell. Well this definitely wasn’t. First morning I think one of the beakers burnt a batch of something and the smell would not leave the room. When staying in hotels, I need to sleep with the window open and aircon turned off. In 2 days I got a total of 5hours and 42 mins sleep. The noise outside the window is not only the 2 bakery stores also locals talking out loud and locals recycling their glass bottles at 12am. I’d sent an email before my stay requesting a quote room and this is what I got. Very little sleep making my stay in Strasbourg less enjoyable. If you’re a light sleeper who sleeps with windows open this hotel is not for you. Shower water pressure, well there isn’t any. Hope this reviews helps you make informed decision.
