This was such a terrible hotel. Our children slept on the pullout coach and it was terribly lumpy and we had one blanket provided for them that was thin and scratchy. Our room had 3 pillows total and we called twice to get more and they never arrived. The pool was ok but small when it was full it was not enjoyable. Such an expensive hotel and for not much. Breakfast was gross except for the waffles that my daughter waited in line for for over 20 minutes. When I booked I assumed the price was in $CAD as I was on expedia.ca app but have now learned it was the $USD price. I NEVER would have paid this much for this hotel if I had known. So disappointed.

We stayed there with 2 young kids and had a closed bedroom which was ideal. It felt like our own vacation condo. It was convenient for us to stay there to visit the Aquarium, Les Galeries de la Capitale and then the old city. Breakfast was not to die for but convenient. Would stay there again.

Great family and dog friendly hotel
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We were travelling with a baby and our dog and so the kitchenette facilities were extremely useful to us. We also enjoyed using the pool and ate on the patio more than once. With a dog, access to a patio and chairs was very welcomed. The hotel is located on the edge of the city, but as someone who has lived in Quebec for many years, I appreciated being able to head out from the old town and stay in a more calm part of town. It's only a 15 minute drive in to see the sights. The only hiccup to our stay was trying to get breakfast. The hotel was very busy and so there was too much traffic at breakfast - just bad planning in terms of the size of the breakfast area and the number of possible guests. It would also help if people made a little effort to grab their breakfast in a more coordinated way and didn't act as though they are the only ones who need to feed their families (nothing on the hotel, just a comment to the population haha).

I liked this new property, there are few areas of improvement that could go a long way to improving guest experience. A more consistent approach to housekeeping that's communicated to guests. During our 5 night stay we only had one room refresh, and on day 4 when we asked the front desk for a cleaning and left for several hours we came back to a room that wasn't cleaned. Breakfast lines were long but the property adapted to the situation by posting busy times and relocating the waffle station. I am confident that the property will read this and work to address these issues for future guests and I really enjoyed the stay otherwise.

The hotel is really modern and clean. I like the aesthetic of the hotel, however the breakfast bar set up was really overcrowded and could have been spread out over two areas. The breakfast was also a little underwhelming.
