The room was quaint and comfortable, having all the amenities of 'chain' hotels but having personality.

Love the location, the staff. Hated not knowing parking was first come / first serve. Reading about parking on the Expedia booking site indicated hotel parking available at $20 per day. Other hotels in the area mentioned the need to use public parking so booking at this hotel was a no brainer. However, upon fighting unusual traffic in the area and driving 12 hours to get there we were told no parking. I drove around and looked for parking in the traffic mess, starving and tired and French not being my first language- I drove back to this hotel and demanded they find someone to park my car or I was going to find another place. All in all the kind woman was able to find parking and the rest of the stay became enjoyable. Great location! The bed was on the softer side and sank in the middle but I managed it. I would consider staying here again.

Charming, historic hotel, a stone's throw from the river walk and the Chateau Frotenac. Easy walk to the many restaurants/cafes and most sites including the Lower City and Plains of Abraham. We stayed in the Théophile Hamel room which was spacious, king size, charming and had a soaking tub in main room. The hotel is located on a quiet street. Parking is not far at as local church. There are stairs to most rooms so if mobility is an issue, it could be a challenge. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will return.

It was great having a place to park our car during our 3 day stay. The hotel is conveniently located to walk many areas of the old city.

The property was in an older state. The room floor was quite noisy and there are no elevators which is probably a norm in the neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was very convenient for walking around old Quebec.

Very inflexible staff and charging for every small thing possible. Didn’t allow us to park even 5 mins beyond the checkout time (even though we were checking out early at 9 AM) although we parked after 2PM checkin time.

We loved staying here! It is close to the boardwalk and all the surrounding activities and restaurants. My only issue would be the stairs. If you have mobility issues at all, I would request the first or second floors. We were on the top floor and by the of the week, I'd had it with the stairs. The other thing was the queen size bed was really uncomfortable. These are my only two issues. Otherwise it is a beautiful place. I would stay again if they got new beds and I was on a lower floor!!!

Excellent Stay
We fond Manoir Sur-le-Cap to be a joy. The staff was very helpful in coordinating a late check-in to accommodate our travel schedule. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quite close to all the "action" in the upper city.

This was a beautiful place to stay and everything was so close ! The only downside is finding parking but that is everywhere in Quebec. It is perfect for anyone who is looking to enjoy this beautiful area and the staff was very welcoming.

Perfect location!
It’s nothing fancy, but the location was fantastic. Parking is available (for a daily fee) off-site, which is a huge plus in Old Quebec. Check-in was great- the woman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning worked great, the showerhead was wonderful, and we all slept great each night. The room could use some renovations, but I’ve stayed in Old Quebec a few times and it’s very typical - it is a very old city, after all! We would stay here again.

Great visit to Quebec.
Great location and roomy in the kitchen area once we put the Murphy bed up. Kitchen was well stocked, coffee maker kettle and even a toaster. Nice comfortable queen bed in bedroom and vet nice bathroom especially the shower. Would definitely stay there again.
