5 star hotel this is not. The room i stayed in was dark and dated, not reflective of the photos on expedia or google. Staff was cordial but not overly welcoming, there was no doorman to help with luggage. The location was convenient for a work function I was attending.

Very nice hotel. What I did not like is that the rate given by Expedia did not include parking. The hotel staff told me that their rate when sold through them is included. Expedia should have rates that include parking.

Like: Very nice staff and bosses. Most Likeable was Julia who works in the Urbania Lounge. Amazing young Girl. We really liked Her. Great Job Julia! Improvement needed: Urbania Rooms are now dated. Tables are scratched, old couches. 3 star now. Was once a 5 star. But not anymore. Lounge access included but food needs to vary daily. Restaurant: On both days, our poached eggs were so OVER cooked and cold. One day 1, we did not say one word. We just left the eggs on our plate. They were Cold and Hard. (???). On day 2, we asked our waitress for soft poached eggs, freshly cooked, and the waitress said, “absolutely, no problem - I will let the kitchen know”. When our poached eggs arrived, they were cold and hard again. The waitress brought our breakfast plate back to the kitchen. We asked her for hot / freshly cooked soft poached eggs once again. When our plate was served a 2nd time, the eggs were hard and not freshly cooked. Just reheated. The PLATE was burning hot. Again, we left the egg on the plate. Huge disappointment. Le Bonne Entente was once a 5 star Hotel, with the best food in town WITH a Chef who would have never served poached eggs cold and hard. (3 times in a row). We were shocked. The waitress tried to help. Thank you for that. The kitchen did nothing to fix this situation. Too bad. I have enjoyed Staying here for 30 years while working on the road, throughout my career. We will have to go elsewhere next time. Nice staff and Mr Giguère are great.

J’ai plusieurs commentaires à faire de cet hôtel. Pour mon expérience à moi,c est pour le travail.Je suis arrivée 20 mins d’avance qu’il m’a dit et que ma chambre n’était pas prête . J’ai dis pas de problème , je ne le savais pas ( 16:00) généralement c est 15;00. Il me dit je vais regarder si j’en ai une autre de prête . (!) je dis non non je préfère attendre ma chambre pour ne pas que vous me donniez autre chose . Il me dit non vous avez réservé une chambre plus luxueuse , elles sont toutes pareilles . J’arrive à ma chambre , il pleut je suis déçue de la vue : stationnement en plus j’ai le véhicule de l’hôtel en plein dans ma vue . Le lendemain je vais déjeuner , le buffet ne m’inspire pas (21,00) je prends œufs bénédictine ( 26,00) Je reçois un pain , 2 œufs , sauce that’s it!! Pas de fruits nada!! Je regarde dehors et wow c est ben beau . Il fait soleil . Je repars et je commence à faire le tour pour pouvoir quitter aller à ma réunion , et je vois toutes les belles vues que les chambres ont . J’envoie un message à 11:00 faisant part de ma déception et on me réponds à 21:00 genre pour me dire d’appeler la prochaine fois et demander mais pas certain que je l’aurai ma vue J’arrive un lundi soir , l’hôtel n’est pas pleine , ma chambre n’est pas prête à 15:40 et on me donne une vue sur un camion ?Vraiment ?Après avoir payé un déjeuner à 26,00? Chambre plus luxueuse qu’on me dit ? Un souper également cher je dirais .Une facture avec stationnement payant. Surprisesen surprises

This is an exquisite hotel abounding with old world charm and a relaxed resort style layout. You feel as if you have stepped into an earlier period in French history. The outside amenities are truly impressive. They have a beautiful waterfall with lovely gardens surrounding the property. There is a fabulous pool and jacuzzi to enjoy. The rooms are very modern with an old fashioned twist. The restaurant and bar offer great food with a nice ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to capture the essence and beauty of Quebec City.
