The property felt like a mini resort just a short drive to the venter of Quebec City. Travelled with parents and a 7 yr old. Lots of fun activities, from the candy bar to roasting marshmallows to watching Olympics with popcorn. A very positive experience. Also the in room Jacuzzi was wonderful, equip with underwater lights and nice water pressure.

The pool and gardens were lovely. The property itself is old and dated. Do not feel there should have been a charge for parking due to hotel location. The bathroom floor had 3 bobby pins and elastic on the floor from previous guests as well as hair in the bathtub. The pad of paper on the desk had children’s drawings from previous guests. Poor sound insulation, you can hear neighbours talking and creeks of the floor. Breakfast was average, avocados were black. Would most likely not stay again.

I was there a few years ago. It changed so much. Dining room: when we got there, we had no reservation. The receptionist had not tell us. The hostess had us wait for 5 minutes. There was many tables available. At 9:15, the buffet was almost empty, one plate left. Ask for a glass of water (still waiting). Menu was poor. Presentation of plates under zero for a hotel of this caliber. We won’t go back.

This is our 2nd visit at BE, it’s been about 9 years since our last visit and we remembered how comfortable the mattresses were, we enjoyed both stays and had a great nights sleep. There are 3 restaurants on site, not all open at the same time, but the food is delicious and the beautiful courtyard and pool area feel like a little tropical oasis in the middle of the suburbs. The staff was friendly and helpful. Look forward to visiting again.

Le divan-lit était très usé et le matelas de celui-ci encore plus . Inacceptable pour ce type d’hôtel. La station de charge des appareils cellulaires dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas. Au petit déjeuner, on a attendu 30 minutes pour nos rôties. Manque aménagement pour les personnes à mobilité réduite pour avoir accès à aller dans la piscine. Pas vu de stationnement pour personne handicapé.

Frais cachés et rapport qualité prix désolant
Le prix est élevé pour la qualité du séjour. 1- ménage laisse à desirer. Tapis avec des taches résiduelles 2- article de rasoir d'un precedent client dans la salle de bain 3- serviette déchirée dans la salle de bain 4- meubles défraîchis 5- toilette bouchée 6- prise électrique près du lit défectueuse Quand on fait le tour de l'hotel, il y a des fils d'araignées autour des luminaires. Deux bâtiments arrières avec un piège à rats.... Infiltration d'eau dû aux bardeaux qui tombent... La dame va certainement écrire de louer dans la section Sens....mais c'est deux fois plus cher! Prix affiché 205$ mais oh surprise frais cachés de stationnement et services pour un total supplémentaire de 50$. Les photos ne sont pas représentatives de l'etat des lieux. J'utilise beaucoup Hotels.com et je dois souvent dormir dans la region de Québec. Les Hotels Jaro sont vraiment mieux pour la qualité-prix.

Our room was outdated. The carpet was stained and disgusting. The bathroom smelt like sewage, we had to keep the light and fan on for the bathroom all night to get some circulation in there, but eventually had to close the bathroom door because it was so foul. The room has the bare minimum. Could barely feel the AC. Not worth the price of $350+

Only 2 negatives, both related to mobility/accessibility issues. The bathtub lip was very high and the shower arrangement with a wall mounted shower head with a head that was not adjustable made it difficult to shower. The second problem was very minor but the location of the safe high up in the closet made it difficult to use. We almost left my wife's purse at the back of the safe because we couldn't reach it without standing on a chair. If your 6 ft tall it may be OK but we're both short. Otherwise the property and the visit was great. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary here, where we spent our honeymoon and it was even better that we remembered.
