I have been booking this property for the last few years at this time . Always after the Labour Day holiday and I find as each year passes the property is getting old and outdated. Carpet in hallway very old and dirty looking.Pool area needs TLC. Where we eat breakfast seems a little crowded this year and the waffle maker was broken and has been for quite some time. I did notice that the railing and outside was getting painted, which is good. The inside just needs TLC as well. I still enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is in such a great area and very walkable to many attractions such as the Skylon tower, the falls, Victoria park and the casino. We’d definitely stay there again!!

Great location !

I really liked the location and my balcony. I could see lots of tourists walking around. Nice to be across from the casino, and easy access home on Stanley St to QEW.

Good service, friendly staff

Staff was excellent, front desk and maid service was excellent. The only concern, is the AC heating.cooling unit is very loud and noisy, but time of year, weather outside was comfortable, so we just turned it off. Breakfast was excellent, simple and fresh.

The property is dated but adequate. The best thing going for it is its location. Just a short walk down the hill to the Falls. My issue is with Expedia itself. The way the rooms are listed would have you believe you were booking that particular room or at least one that looks like what’s in the picture. That’s not the case at all and when I asked the hotel why my room didn’t match the one in the picture, I was expecting a fireplace with a view of the falls, they said it’s an ongoing issue with Expedia, not them and they have asked Expedia to stop listing rooms that don’t match the pictures. So can’t really fault the hotel for that but probably wouldn’t stay there again. They also need a fan in the bathroom. Or washroom if you’re Canadian.
