Really nice house. Has everything you need especially if you have kids. A small walking distance to town and lake. It was a home away from home feeling for me and my family

Modern unit great Location and off street parking.
Positives: This is ideal if you want walking distance to town and secure off street parking. Great kitchen but no dining table so eating is on bar stools at the kitchen island. Not suitable for young children, unless you dine Japanese style but the coffee table is glass with sharp metal edges on the table frame. Clean linen. Close to the Queenstown Hill walking track. Negatives: you are renting a 2 bedroom unit that has a door to a self contained bedsit which would be a 3rd bedroom. No soundproofing. Current occupant in this bedsit has an exboyfriend who comes in the night disturbing her. We had to warn him off with a threat to call the police as we were worried for her safety. He was around twice disturbing her (AND us). During the day, she assumes we are away, so the music is cranked up. Hope this occupant is only temporary. Cleaning is not great. Crumbs in cutlery drawer, in the toaster, Oven tray with baked on food, dried food on the plates. Unswept floor. No broom to sweep this and both vacuum cleaners are for carpet with no suck for the hard floor. No brush and pan to collect the glass and crumbs pushed around by the no-suck vacuum cleaners. A sign asking us to remove shoes upon entry, which we did then got a glass splinter in the foot. Dirty glasses. We started the trip with putting all the dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery into the dishwasher. Flat batteries in the TV remote so we bought some. No Pellets for the Pellet fire, luckily the heat pump worked. One kitchen utensil drawer was jammed - we had tools to undo the screws and fix the problem - it was apparent that the drawer was jammed for a long time and not reported to the manager. We were told to write an honest feedback so here it is. We would like the next tenants to not have our experience. We would rent here again if we were assured that the cleaning is better.
