Alpine Escape - Elevated Views with Spa

Bring the whole family or group of friends to this spacious 4 bedroom house that is situated high up on the hill, capturing stunning elevated views of Queenstown’s iconic Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. Equipped with a pool table, outdoor seating and spa pool there are options to entertain all ages. This Alpine Escape is the perfect base for your Queenstown stay no matter the size of your group.

This home is set over two levels with the living, dining, two bathrooms, and 2 queen bedrooms on the entry level. Upstairs you'll find two queen bedrooms. Each bedroom has a wall heater so you'll be nice and warm during Winter.

There is plenty of parking outside the home. Please note, the driveway to the home is very steep and we recommend a 4WD during the Winter months.
Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Additionally, all guests who are unaccompanied by a parent or guardian must also be over 25 years of age.

Our holiday homes must be left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Should the home require excessive cleaning over and above what is deemed reasonable, a charge of $40.00 plus gst per hour will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking. This includes but not limited to doing dishes, pots and pans, removal of rubbish, cleaning the oven after use.

As residential homes you are asked to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. The number of occupants is as per the reservation and may not be increased without approval from Harcourts Property Management. Increased occupancy, excessive noise or illegal activity may result in penalty charges and eviction and forfeiture of all prepaid rental monies.

Our stay @982 Frankton
The property was ok but very worn out and the description was very sketchy as to facilities. When you see 2 bathrooms you immediately think ensuite however this was not the case and one toilet was so small & tight it was not funny. The larger bathroom shower head was loose and leaking, which we tightened. Our agent was awesome and she fixed the issues within 24 hours. No dryer, which is pretty important. All the pots and pans were stuffed with the surfaces coming off, or food not cleaned out properly. None of the utensils or plates were clean - we put them through the dishwasher so we could use them. The pool table, which was an important part of our booking, had 2 broken pockets stopping balls from entering. The triangle was broken and the only useable cue was warped badly. Our agent turned up with 2 new cues, triangle and chalk which was much appreciated. The spa pool lid was not properly lockable with only a chain across it and a padlock that would not lock, the lid was ripped and smelly. The stairs and upstairs bedroom creaked badly when being walked on, making sleep hard for the people in the downstairs bedrooms. The floor needs screwing down. Overall for the price paid, we are a little disappointed however the location and view was great. Sack the cleaners and give the place a good clean and a dryer, would improve the experience amazingly.
