Surprisingly, even though this was close to the airport, it was really nice and quiet. The room was very, very big and the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom needed some updating and the ceiling tiles were stained yellow. Overall, a good place to stay for one night late from the airport . Staff was excellent !!

This met my needs but I thought a few things were a bit wonky. The lighting in the bathroom was between the shower and the vanity so you stand in a self-cast shadow when trying to see to get ready. The bathroom light switch was not accessible with a “just around the corner” reach— it was like 6-8” further in the bathroom wall — just odd. One bed side table light didn’t work. The LG TV remote didn’t really work other than the channel up/down and volume buttons. Then the breakfast options were really unhealthy… very little to choose from for anyone not interested in sugary cereal, white bread or grits. I would not stay here again for any reason other than what I stayed for — an inexpensive room to stay in for one night close to the airport.

We have stayed at this property several times in the last 18 months. We have always lived it until tonight. We would drive up the night before we flew out from RDU and leave our car at the hotel while we were traveling and we have never been charged a parking fee in the past. There is a free shuttle to the airport. Oct 15, 2024 when we checked in we were told, after paying in advance on Expedia, that they “have always” charged $10/night to leave your car. When we insisted that was wrong and had our past stays accounts pulled it shows we were never charged for parking. After some inquiry, finally it comes out that this is a recent change. Made without notice to long standing customers. We stayed overnight. It was immediately clear that a lot more than their parking policy has changed. We were given fewer towels for the room than before. The towels were rough, thin and small. I weigh 125lbs and had a hard time wrapping the small towel around me We asked to speak to a manager and no one was available. We were told to “come back at 6 am.” When we were going up to our room another couple was checking in behind us. While I thought we were upset with the new parking policy change…our surprise and upset did not come close to matching the couple checking in behind us. As we headed up the elevator I heard the same “story” being told….” This has always been our policy.” Do not stay here.

My stay was okay I’d say an 6.5 out of 10. We had to change our rooms 3 times because of the strong smells. It smelled like over used cleaning products with a baby powder scent mixed with raid. Staff was nice enough to allow us to find a room that worked for us. Although the 4th room had a little smell it was fine. We also had a problem with our room cards several times where we had to keep requesting a new one, because the ones we had kept not working. Staff was nice, they had no problem helping us. Breakfast was good. Cute lobby, parking was easy. King studio suite was a good size. Rooms were clean regardless of the smells. Not entirely sure I would stay there again due to the issues we faced, but it did have its perks and nice staff. It would’ve been nice to receive some type of money off due to all inconveniences, but thats okay.

This hotel needs a major facelift. The carpets in the hallway are dirty, musty, stained and the are buckling. The toilet seat in our room was peeling, and thus is something that can be easily replaced! There were old spider webs in the corner of the ceiling, and there are areas where the ceilind seems to be shifting. The only thing I lived about the stay is that the front desk clerk was absolutely amazing....so professional and sweet! I would not stay here again.

A little difficult to find. However, the hotel was plesant to look at, staff friendly the room was clean and spacious. I was also able to leave my car there, for a nomial fee, as we were going out of town for a week.
