A very very very run down hotel. Our air conditioning wasn't working so we had to have that fixed. In the meantime we tried to use our fan and that broke. Half way through our trip our microwave started beeping and saying error on it. The entire hotel was just gross and run down. The staff we interacted with were amazing though!

First room we got smelled like cat urine. Staff very quickly and professionally got us another room. It was a much cleaner smelling room however bathroom light was out. Requested to be replaced and that too, staff very pleased to correct.

The hotel is old and needs remodeling. The ice machine did not work and the bed did not have a blanket. They used a mattress pad as a blanket. The staff responded to our concerns but were slow to fix the ice machine.

The room was good . But the toilet was very low which made it hard to use. But it was very spacious. Don’t know if I would book there again.

Management very cordial and helpful. Needed maintenance to repair toilet. They arrived and repaired in a timely manner. Found hairs in shower upon first use next day, rust in the tub. Slow draining bathroom sink. We were only there for one night so we didnt request a room change.

Homewood suites in Crabtree Valley is nestled in a safe and quiet area in Raleigh. There is a beautiful Mexican restaurant just a few feet from the hotel that offers dine in or carry out options. I would rate the food there a 4/5. The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. Although there are some upgrades that would’ve been nice for the trip like tv’s with streaming services. The hotel is also convenient for shopping. Right across the road from the hotel is Crabtree mall.

They property drain the pool the same day we checked in. The rooms weren’t what I expected by staying at several Hilton owned chains. It was mediocre. We stayed because it gave space for my kids and husband to enjoy our 4 day stay in Raleigh.

Poor conditions overall
We had to move rooms because the shower was clogged and the water was cold. In the new room, there were dents in the fridge and rust in the bathroom. The bed was not very comfortable and the couch wasn’t either. One of the lights was out in the bathroom so it made it hard to see. The freezer was dirty and had ice all over the walls of it. Overall, very very poor for the price.

Even though I booked months ago I was put in a two double room vs the king room I booked due to booking through 3rd party and their occupancy issues on a Tuesday. Overall hotel looks kinda tired and ready for a facelift. Was generally ok but I think there are better options for the price.

I Just Couldn’t
I did not like the dark ambiance when I entered the lobby. There is a stale smell when you walk into the building and the room. The indoor pool water was green, the carpet was dirty and the bed linens were cheap looking. The front desk attendant told us about the morning breakfast, I told her I would not eat anything from here. I told her to refund me my money, so I could stay somewhere else.
