We booked two nights but only stayed one as the toilet didnt work and when we got back in the arvo we had no water.the bedding was shir.mattress was shit.the front of house girl didnt give a shit.breakfast was so bad we didnt bother.the noise from trucks roaring by every two minutes all night made it impossible to sleep.looked like the toilets just ran into the bush.the worst place in asia. Of course wouldnt refund any money even our tourist tax. Absolute worst ever
the worst accommodation in my life, the very old room, the bathroom in a desolate state, the window in the room can not be closed, all night, I heard the noise of cars out of road, the disgusting breakfast I donated to the local cat. Wifi was only in restaurant. Only one things was good, very close to entrance Kinabalu Park
Very poor they have a large dog chained 24/7 in the restaurant/seatn area barks at everyone and anything very cruel . The bed, sheets and blankets ( threadbare/ holes oxfam would probly reject them) all damp Leechs in the bathroom food so so.
Defo a get them in get them out get their money place no effort at customer relations
The view was so beautiful, the home-stay surrounded with variety of beautiful flowers, and the owner are friendly too. they have their own restaurant. The food served was fresh and delicious. A must try and eat fresh veggies from the farm.
The location is pretty good being a 10 minute walk to the Kinabalu National park. The staff are friendly and produce good meals although breakfast is very basic and almost inedible. The biggest negative is the condition of the accommodation and its cleanliness. I wouldn't mind too much but we were paying prices much higher than the standard offered. The owners need to spend some of the profits they are making on renovation and repair of existing facilities.
Room too small for 2person stay. Bathroom very small even just enough space for 1 normal size person to stand still, big size people will have difficulties to use the bathroom

A convenient and friendly place to stay on the main route to Ranau. Breakfast with lovely views was great, but otherwise the room was unnecessarily bland and a little noisy.

Nice hotel but the size of the bathroom is small
Good experience good scenery, nice hotel to stay but toilet is small. Realy small. But this expedia want a long review. It is quite annoying... Why cant it be just a simple review?
Wow! What a wonderful friendly place. So glad we stayed here. The room was good value and walking distance to the national park for plenty of treks around the mountain, even though we weren't climbing to the top. Incredible views from their balcony restaurant. Highly recommend.
We stayed at the vila after climbing Mt Kinabalu. The room is very basic, walls are super thin and the shower is hot if you manage to squeeze in between the toilet and the wall. Breakfast was included and the staff was very helpful. This is a low budget accommodation with all the bear minimum. Free wi-fi is available in the reception/restaurant area.
