A wonderful desert home

This home is located in the secluded Rancho Mirage community of Magnesia Falls Cove which provides both privacy and tranquility. The home’s exterior reflects the colors of the nearby mountains and provides a stunning backdrop for the beautiful xeriscape. This remarkable vacation home was custom built in 2006 with indoor / outdoor living in mind. This home's design and orientation highlight the sunshine and gorgeous mountain views. High ceilings, open floor plan and large windows give this home a light and open feel and bring the outdoors in.

Many upscale appointments make this home perfect for your quiet enjoyment or sharing with friends and family. The living area opens to the saltwater pool area and covered patio and includes a gas fireplace and terrific built in sound system. The kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances including double ovens for those special events and dinner parties. You'll find all the utensils, service ware, and small appliances you need to prepare delicious meals for friends and family. The butler’s pantry contains ample storage and a bar with wine cooler. Two sets of French doors in the Dining Room opens to the front courtyard to the north and western mountain views. The media room also opens to the front courtyard and includes a large HD TV as well as an Xbox 360 with an assortment of games and movies for your entertainment.
The master bedroom is spacious with high ceilings, a large walk-in closet, and a large en suite with jetted tub overlooking a private garden. The guest house has large sliders opening to the front courtyard and the south facing backyard. Each of the two other guest bedrooms have their own spacious private patios.

The outside oasis of this home invites you to enjoy the brilliant year round sunshine and breathtaking mountain views while you relax on a lounge chair, outdoor sectional or pool float. A comfortable modular sectional provides for comfortable longing or entertaining under the south facing covered patio with lounge chairs on the poolside patio. The sparkling saltwater pool is great for play or lounging and includes remotely operated fountains. The large spa heats quickly and is perfectly situated to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views and sunsets. Stunning pool and landscape lighting, as well as a gas firepit, allow you to enjoy, or entertain in, the outdoors throughout the evening.
The front courtyard includes a putting green, dining table for 6-10 and a gas fireplace.

This beautiful home is located walking distance to Rancho Las Palmas Resort including Spa and Golf Course, and The River with its fantastic restaurants, art galleries, and nightlife. The adjacent mountain include several trails for hiking. High end shopping is just a short drive away along El Paseo, with unique boutiques in Palm Springs and great outlet shopping in nearby Cabazon.

Nice home that has serious deferred maintenance issues.
The very best thing was the backyard and pool, although the pool was not heated when we arrived and had off and on issues for three weeks. House needs a lot of improvements and repairs. We did have a great time with our family in spite of some issues. You go, you will enjoy.

The perfect getaway
This home was everything we could have hoped for and more! We had 8 adults and 2 kids under 4 for this week long getaway. We just wanted a nice relaxing week away and this home was great. The outdoor area was perfect, plenty of outdoor seating, the grill was big and very clean, the views were really pretty and the POOL was everything! Then inside, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, cups, appliances. There was also a table in the kitchen that fit everyone, great to eat together but also good for game nights. I reached out to Lynn with a quick questions, she responded right away and was very nice. Also a plus the area was great and very close to shopping and restaurants. We will 100% be staying here again, this home is a gem!!!!!

Good location and roomy for families
Huge home on a large lot, plenty of room for families. Bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The home is older and the appliances and infrastructure needs some work (out dated). Dishwasher and dryer were working intermittently and there is no toilet paper, laundry/dish soap, hand soap or paper towels provided so you have to bring your own. The pool was the highlight of our stay with wonderful shade and new pool floats. Yard is plenty big for entertaining and our family dog had tons of room for running around.

This beautifully designed, spacious home, oriented onto a lovely pool area with mountain views and a beautiful garden, frequently visited by humming birds, was an ideal place for our large family to gather and to have privacy and comfort in our rooms, as well as ample common spaces, indoors and out, to come together and to enjoy meals. Lynne was always responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay.

Overall we had a fine experience. The property was listed as accommodating 8-10 people. We had 10, but there wasn’t really anyplace for 10 to sleep. We saw the beds for 8 listed and were expecting a couch bed for the extra 2 people. They did have 2 small cots, but we could not find sheets or clean bedding anywhere for them. The home should definitely only be listed for 8 people. We ended up having to buy sheets and blankets ourselves. We also had to buy hand soap, shampoo for a few of the bathrooms and laundry detergent. We have stayed in many homes before on air bnb and these were always provided. If it had been listed that these were not provided we would have come more prepared. As I mentioned it was a fine experience, a few changes would have made it a great one.

Great Location
We really enjoyed our time in Rancho Mirage. The home was perfect for entertaining safely. The backyard was spacious and provided a beautiful view of the mountains. We took daily walks around the incredibly maintained neighborhood. The master bathroom was a bit dated but still provided a comfortable experience. The kitchen was amazing. We spent hours huddled around the large island. I would encourage you to double check the house before guest arrival. There was a slow leak in the master shower and the outside firepit was out of service. Due to COVID, we elected to forego requesting in home repair after our arrival. Everything else was wonderful.

Wonderful location and house for entertaining
We loved our stay in this incredible home. The layout is perfect for entertaining with a large open kitchen to the grand living room and backyard. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids! A few small repairs are needed but other than that, we loved our stay and Lynn was very responsive to our questions and very helpful. I would highly recommend this house!

Thankl you Lynn for sharing this wonderful dreamy perfect beautiful home with us lucky VRBQ guests! I was there for the past week with my adult children and granddaughter. There is soooo much room in the house and the layout was perfect for us to be together and yet to have room for us to spread out. The property is utterly gorgeous in a neighborhood with mountains and trees and quiet and beauty all around. There is a wonderfully huge backyard with the most serene and zen like circle swimming pool and jacuzzi. the pool water was so warm and the jacuzzi hot and we swooned with delight back there. There is a front yard with an outdoor fireplace for cozy chats. The indoor and outdoor areas are very spacious. The kitchen is large and was perfectly equiped for our huge Thanksgiving dinner we had prepared. TVs in every bedroom to boot! The only down side is having to leave. The magic of the desert and this wonderful home was a trip we will never forget. And Lynn was wonderful with any questions we had!!!!

The property inside and out was beautiful. The kitchen is HUGE and well appointed, which we love. We also used the BBQ every day and ate both inside and outside at the big tables. It was great that we had lots of space to relax however we wanted, inside for the AC or outside by the pool. The high ceilings make it feel extra luxurious, and the detached master bedroom with ensuite was especially nice for the older couple. Would definitely rent again in the future!

The pictures don’t do this house justice. Tons of room, backyard space is huge, super quiet neighborhood and only a 10 minute walk to grab coffee or go to the store. Lynn was super easy to communicate with and the house is in amazing shape. Would absolutely come back to this awesome home!

Nice house, great location!
Had a great stay here with my family. Location was great, overall layout of the house was exactly what we needed. And the water spouts over the pool was amazing! Some minor cons: Would have been nice to get a house guide (especially for the pool), WiFi wasn't strong enough, a few of us had to work a day or two remotely and it was very difficult to get a steady signal. Main sliding door was broken and did not lock at all, so we had to MacGyver contraptions in front of it for extra security (since we had children in the house), and the pool (although very nice) was filled with boatman bugs (we think) all along walls in the pool, but it didn't deter us from having fun! Property manager was responsive via VRBO and texting, but no action taken on the issues we brought up. But overall, great experience.

Covid retreat
We were able to spend 2 wonderful weeks with our son and family without ever having to leave the house! There was room for every one to spread out. We gave to pool a real work out and the fountains were not only a hit but made the REALLY high Temps tolerable. The yard is very private and has enough green space to enjoy some outdoor games morning and evenings. Kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, beds were comfortable, kids loved the Xbox and the tv room. Lynn keeps the house at 75 degrees which was wonderful. She is a very responsive hostess before,, during and at the end of our stay.
