I wish there was more parking closer to the property, but there is a large parking garage a couple of blocks away that works well if the weather is nice. Otherwise, the rest of the stay and service was excellent!

The only downside to this property is the parking. You either have to park in the street after the meters shut off or do the parking ramp which is at least a block away.

Overall an enjoyable experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue would be the parking situation. Can be confusing and difficult to find a meter until a certain time of day. I used the valet service to avoid any mistakes.

Alex Johnson is a charming older property in the heart of Rapid City. Truly enjoyed everything about the property. The parking is a bit expensive at about $30 a day so be forewarned.
