A very quiet hotel and a comfortable room, although quite basic and missing an electric kettle. We stayed here during a road trip in Germany and it was very useful for exploring the Black Forrest and Baden-Baden. The parking was free and plentiful and we had an overall positive experience. Had little to no interaction with anyone as it was all self check-in.

Good location
Good location and parking. Comfortable room but bathroom did have a smell of drains on entering. ( some areas of the town also had a drains smell ) Worth getting to whilst the reception is staffed. Adequate breakfast. Vending machines in lobby for when restaurant closed.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Luckily they spoke English as we don’t speak German. The room was well proportioned and clean. It was a bonus that we could have our evening meal at the hotel, as we’d been on the road for most of the day and were tired. I would happily recommend this hotel to others and if we were in the area again, would stay at Bildungshaus St Bernard

Tranquillity from ecclesiastical origins.
The property had an ecclesiastical feel to it. All staff very helpful. Room with shared bathroom was very clean and acceptable. Both breakfast and evening meals were good quality and plentiful.

My room was very spacious, a lot of natural light coming in, even in the bathroom. The breakfast area is big. The food was very good. The staff is very friendly.

Almost perfect ..
Excellent location,very clean and comfortable.Reception was a closed very early and no one there on the Saturday morning.No facilities to have a hot drink or beer.There was a vending machine that supplied limited cold drinks and chocolate,however,it was coins only and as I didn't have any and reception was closed then I had to do without.
