Staff was friendly upon check in. Food at restaurant was great. The trip coincided with storm which broke the Ev charging point otherwise it has all necessary facility.

Checked in fine, discovered that our room (which was fine) was over a party with music until midnight, reception moved us to another quiet room (and it was) but it was smaller and cold. Reception arranged for a portable heater whilst we were at The Mansion House so room was warm when we got back. Reception did their job. Breakfast room was full in the morning so we had breakfast in The Pantry, service was in experienced, food was not great (sausages so burnt that no one ate them), rest was not hot, only one jug of milk by the cereals but none by the tea/coffee machines!!! The whole place was cold, so no where to sit comfortably and chill out. Shame we were looking forward to a nice night away.

Amazing hotel. Amazing Staff
Fantastic service from start to finish, all members of staff literally could not so enough for us. We stayed in the Executive Suite in Mansion House. Room was extremely spacious and because it was our wedding anniversary, there were a lot of personal touches in the room like welcome gifts, balloons etc which was greatly appreciated. Food options were slightly limited but they were fine for our stay. Breakfast was lovely and had lots of options! We will definitely be staying here again… Thank you to everyone for making our stay an amazing experience. The only issue is, how is this hotel only a 3.5 Star hotel and not rated as a 5 Star because that’s what the hotel and staff deserve because at every step, they gave us 5 Star service!

Our family stayed for a long weekend celebrating a birthday. The staff were nice and super helpful. Facilities were clean. Pool is heated and the kids loved it. The sauna was small but was fine when it was just our family using it. Food was really nice at all times. We took a walk around the property and kids loved the play area. We will definitely book again next year!!

This hotel has great setting however the room I stayed in was in need of improvement especially the bathroom. The shower was tiny and the water didn't get above my shoulders. There were unresolved tile repairs. Overall I was disappointed with the room and expected more. Two points to call out positively. The breakfast was good and had a great range of options. And the service in the sports bar was great and the team including Thomas looked after me well.

DeVere Wokefield exceeded our expectations considerably. We upgraded to a room in the Mansion House and the view from the window was beautiful. Even though there were wedding parties both nights we were there, we would not have known it had we not met people during breakfast and photo shoots. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The Mansion House could not have been a more lovely surprise. Inexpensive taxi ride to Reading to see the Silchester Eagle and the UK copy of the Bayeaux Tapestry. Very highly recommend!
