Fantastic Location, great for the train. Just the usual city centre grime on the streets as you leave the hotel, but that’s certainly not the hotel’s fault.

Fabulous
Very friendly helpful staff on reception great spacious clean toom and a lovely pool. 2 mins to station, busses and shops this is a very good central hotel . Train every 5 mins to london !

Just a mediocre hotel that can only get away with it because of the lack of competition. The special highlight of my stay was the heating in my room not working on the coldest night of the year so far. The staff did provide a small radiator which helped a bit but the whole place is just shabby and run down

Good location, large and comfortable room but average service. Reception staff were rude and claiming they couldn’t find my reservation even though they’d found it 5minutes earlier to let me into the (expensive) gated car park.

Excellent hotel. Modern clean rooms. Good staff. Nice breakfast. Excellent gym. Pool. And steamer/sauna. Good location too. Parking a small pain. But minor issue. Overall definitely recommend.

Lots of anti social behaviour outside...once inside it was fine but I feel for the locals dealing with this. Piles of rubbish, drug and alcohol evidence eberywhere. Hotel is functional but dated, service very good. Travelled alone but was in a family room with sofa bed made up unusually. Good TV and casting options. Room service quality good but v. Expensive. Fish dish £23 £5 service charge...but good quality despite high cost. Wouldn't stay again due to feeling unsafe around hotel location
