I was told of a $100 fee for having a dog for a one night stay when I checked in. I think this is very unfair and I’m pretty angry about it. These kind of fees need to be disclosed - and not just addressed by some nebulous statement in 4 pages of details

We really enjoyed the property being located so close to the beach. Unfortunately, we were given an inside room with a window facing the indoor pool area and to make matters worse we had very loud neighbors. When we requested to be moved to another room we were placed in an even worse room with no windows at all! We only needed the room for one night so we didn't make a fuss as it was getting late. Due to its proximity to the beach, I may possibly try this property again when it isn't as busy.

MUST STAY
This was our last trip before my wife and I are expecting our first child. The manager at the front desk gave us an upgraded room at no charge. That was a great beginning. The hotel is at a great location. We went to the Rusty Rudder down the street for a Halloween Costume party that was great.

A good option for stay in Dewey Beach. Indoor pool was cold. They don't have an outdoor pool option for when the weather is warmer. Good location.

I requested oceanfront with a balcony and no balcony and really no beach only sound. I was told that you could walk out of the balcony onto the beach from the property. Not true. Plus we had our dog and paid the extra $100 fee. Loved the Lighthouse restaurant. Room was nice. Needed more handicapped parking in garage. More meat choices for breakfast. Lotion in room. Clean room. More grass for dogs or dog park.
