"Grouse Haven near Keuka Lake was the perfect cabin in the woods experience I was hoping for! A quiet "away from it all" location, but 15 minutes to "town" if you need! The cabin was exceptionally clean and the owner had it nice and toasty and the fireplace going when I arrived. The listing photos are very accurate - looked exactly as I expected base on the photos, from the cabin and rooms, to the property. Everything is provided: cookware, utensils, bath and bed linens - it was super easy for me to settle in from the moment I arrived. It was me, my dog, the birds, and nature. They have a great trail just across the road, dog loved it and we enjoyed it several times during the stay. I absolutely loved the porch - perfect for reading or relaxing in the sun. While Roku was available and I did watch a couple of movies at night, I enjoyed reading a book I had brought and there were puzzles (a favorite of mine) to pass the time. It was wonderful to disconnect from the world for a few days and I intend to repeat the adventure! The owner was very responsive and did a quick check-in with me via text to make sure all was well. If you are looking for a place to get away and enjoy what nature has to offer, this is the cabin. Felt like home for a few days. "

"We needed a rain weekend getaway with a hot tub and this was perfect! Spent time at Hazlitt and Hollerhorn and the rest of the time hot tubbing with view of waterfall! The 80’s video games were fun as well!!!"

"We originally booked two nights and then decided to extend our stay. Partly because of the weather but also just because we were enjoying it so much! Very cozy and clean. Close to fun things to but you also feel like you’re nice and secluded and have privacy. Beautiful cabin!"
