Built on an elevated spot at the village of Agia Triada, just 9 km away from the renaissance city of Rethymno, Villa Hara offers breathtaking views of the sea and Psiloritis Mountain. Set in an area of magnificent natural beauty, surrounded by gardens of pretty flowering shrubs and fruit trees, Villa Hara is also conveniently located close to shops for your everyday needs.


Villa Hara brings a traditional home feeling to your holidays, with its Cretan character, decorated in a rustic manner with traditional furniture. Built in, 2006 and renovated in 2012, the property consists of 2 buildings on two different levels -a 120 sq.m. main house and a 50 sq. m. separate studio- and can accommodate 8 people in beds and up to 9 people if needed in its 4 bedrooms.


Layout


Autonomous Studio
The autonomous studio on the first floor has its own private entrance and hosts the first bedroom. This bedroom features a Queen-size bed (1,60 x 2,00) which can be formed into two single beds upon request (0,80 x 2,00) and an en-suite bathroom with a shower cabin. Additionally, the studio features its own lounge with a fireplace, as well as a kitchenette. Finally, the studio offers direct access to the pool terrace.


Main House
The main house features a living room, a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The living area boasts an open fireplace, a 55 smart TV, as well as direct access to the garden.


The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchenware and home appliances as well as a dining table comfortably seating up to 8 guests. Each of the 3 ground-floor bedrooms offers a double bed, individually controlled A/C, closet & direct access to the garden. One of the bedrooms enjoys an en-suite bathroom with a hydromassage cabin, while the remaining two bedrooms share a bathroom with a bathtub, a washer/dryer, and a hair dryer.


Bedroom 2: This bedroom features a Queen-size bed (1,60 x 2,00) which can be formed into two single beds upon request (0,80 x 2,00), and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower. This bedroom also features a self-controlled A/C, a closet, and direct access to the pool area.

Outdoor Area


The outdoor area of Villa Hara expands 4,000m and offers breathtaking views of the sea and natural landscape.
More specifically the outdoor facilities include:
- A 20 m2 private swimming pool, 1,60 m. deep. The pool area is equipped with sun beds, side tables, a poolside shower, and umbrellas.
- A built-in barbecue facility. Adjacent to the BBQ area is a 6-seater dining table.

- A playground for your little ones to enjoy all the fun!

Villa Hara is located on a hill next to "Agia Triada" village, a small village with quietness which is ideal for relaxing, and for almost all kind of vacations. You can stay close to the villa and enjoy the calmness of the area, the panoramic views and one of the best beaches in Crete or you can take advantage of the villas central location and explore our amazing island!

In the village of Agia Triada you will only find a small traditional tavern that you will love! Moreover the bigger villages "Pigi" and "Adele" where you can find all kind of shops, supermarkets, bakeries and several taverns are only 3 km away!

About 6 km away from the villa you will also find the well known tourist area of "Platanias" with many organised beaches, night clubs, big market and restaurants!

Fallen in love with Crete
We had such a wonderful time at Villa Hara. It felt authentic, charming, the grounds were beautiful and the panoramic views amazing! Owners Giannis and his wife were easy to reach and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants too. They had the kitchen well stocked with necessities and even Raki available, which was fun to drink. Kostas is a great host, quick to respond to my queries. I would truly love to return one day.

A lovely villa with delightful atmosphere. Gréât pool deck, well equipped kitchen, charming and generous host with lots of local amenities like supermarkets selling local produce, tavernas etc. We had a fabulous relaxed holiday and would recommend the villa but would point out it is not on one level and there some stairs so not suitable for visitors with more severe handicaps.

Unterkunft mit Defiziten
Die Unterkunft ist eigentlich ganz schön, nur leider hat es an allen Ecken und Enden an Sauberkeit gefehlt(z.B. Schimmel an den Kühlschrankgummis, Haare und benutze Ohrstöpsel unter dem Bett, Bodenfliesen krümelig und Fleckig, Geschirr komplett dreckig), zudem ist es doch schon sehr abgewohnt. Wer den Kinderbereich nutzen möchte, sollte nicht allzu größe Erwartungen haben, bei uns war es komplett zugemüllt und auch mit kaputten liegen Liegen vollgestellt. Es kam uns vor als würde dort jemand leben und hat nur das Haus für uns geräumt, vermutlich die Eigentümer selbst. Wir haben beim Einzug erstmal eine Grundreinigung selbst machen müssen, da erst am nächsten Tag der Eigentümer kam und sich dem Problem annehmen wollte. Nach langer Diskussion haben wir einen kleinen Anteil unseren Geldes zurück bekommen, in unseren Augen viel zu wenig. Wer hier her kommt, braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto oder muss zumindest sportlich sehr fit sein (z.T. sehr steile und steinige Wege). Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht nochmal mieten. Positiv ist die schöne Aussicht von der Terasse zu erwähnen.

Wir waren die ersten Mieter in der Saison. Das Haus ist sehr schön, vor allem der obere Teil inklusive dem tollen Pool und der Terrasse mit atemberaubendem Blick. Das Haus ist etwas anders als auf den Bildern dargestellt und der Teil im Erdgeschoss sehr hellhörig. Der Gastgeber ist echt ein Schatz, super hilfsbereit und hat wunderbare Tipps. Danke hierfür Giannis!!!! Auch der Kontakt mit der Agentur verlief absolut komplkationslos und sehr zuverlässig.

Ein Traum - mit Megablick
Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Tolles Haus mit atemberaubender Aussicht und Weitsicht auf das Meer und das Hinterland von Rethymno. Zimmer etwas anders wie auf den Bildern, aber völlig in Ordnung. Am besten ist aber der Kontakt zum Eigentümer - den Mehrwert den er bringt kann man sich gar nicht anderweitig holen. Er kümmert sich um alles, sorgt sich und koordiniert auch die Reinigungsdienste alle 2-3 Tage. Zudem kann man sich auf seine Tipps in Bezug auf Restaurants, Strände undundund 1-1 verlassen. Sehr schöner Badeurlaub auf Creta
Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Villa Hara. Die Villa ist sauber, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die täglichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Supermarkt, Metzger, Bäcker sind in 5 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Besitzer der Villa ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die An und Abreise hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hat, was aber nichts mit der Villa zu tun hat sind die Zikaden die den ganzen Tag laut zirpen. Das ist aber auf ganz Creta so.

Beautiful and spacious private Villa hillsides above Rethymnon.
Very nice and very well maintained Villa in the hills a few kilometers above Rethymnon. Beautiful private property in a flourishing garden setting providing lots of space for 8 people still providing individual privacy. Certainly a highlight is the very wide roof top terrace with its magnificent view across the shoreline and the mountains. The private pool is large enough for an easy refreshment. The house is fully equipped with everything a family needs for the daily life and even the fridge is equipped with the first need to haves upon your arrival. The entire arrangement lets you feel like coming home and is far away from typical apartment or hotel operation. In the proximity you will find typical greek tavernes and shopping facilities (i.e. organic food in highest quality) hence you should have car available during your stay. The location is perfect for all excursions across West Crete, many attractions, beaches even on the south coast are within easy range. The host which life nearby are very kind an sophisticated people which really give you good advice and ideas for your daily activities. We have been out with them 2 or 3 times and it was always a pleasure to get a deeper insight into the local lifestyle of west Crete and the Rethymnon area. We definitely came as foreigners and left as friends.
