It was under construction. They were working on a few rooms. The cleaning staff was Awesome!!!! The breakfast was a continental breakfast. Very good. The rooms we rented were brand new. The location is about a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants

Really seamless stay here at the hotel. There were construction works going on but didn’t disturb us. Check in was a little unclear as supposedly an email was sent with details before. This was not the case but the check in assistant when ringing the bell was very helpful and we had codes and a room within minutes. Our room had a code and there was zero interaction with staff

We did not receive an email with our room number & acess code before we arrived and we found this is needed to even enter the hotel as there is no front desk. A free breakfast was advertised but the turnstile only allowed one of the 2 of us to enter the dining area. The hotel is under renovation and a worker appeared in our unit with no warning. Not impressed with expedia or the hotel. We will never come here again or recommend it to anyone.

Clean and comfortable room provided excellent accommodation during our four night stay in Iceland. Within walking distance to a great vegan restaurant, a grocery store, and local points of interest. Ideal for travelers like us who booked a number of local tours which offer hotel pick up and drop off from certain hotels.

Well, there is no onsite staff to answer questions, that’s a HUGE negative. There are no glasses in the rooms, nor ice machines, prompting me having to go buy a bag of ice and two glasses at a local grocery store. Parking is on the street and is spotty, unless you choose to pay. There was active renovation being done on a few rooms while we were staying there. Just all around bad outcome.

We booked this hotel because of convenience. (Our excursion company offered door pickup from here.) Do not expect any frills. No receptionist and it was a very sparse room. We kept our soda’s cold by sitting them on the window seal. Breakfast was okay. The cable didn’t work the whole time we were there. They were remodeling during our stay.

Room was bare minimal!! Tv bed bathroom! The 2nd floor we were on was the only room not under construction! 8 am the workers started with their hammers and saws that were very loud and left a film of dust everywhere!!!! We left 22 Hill Hotel a day early and spent our last night in Iceland in a very luxurious Hotel/Apartment which was Thingholt Apartments!
