The bartender/ server Andre was great. He recommend drinks then made them to perfection. When we wanted to modify our meal he made sure it was correct. The only downside to this stay was that some of the staff seemed like they did not want to help us. Also some were not helpful in giving suggestion on what to do or how to get to attractions. We basically used google to find attractions and locations.

Great Hotel!

Smooth check-in, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room with good bathroom and shower. Nice breakfast which starts at 7am. Located at the beginning of the main Laugavegur shopping street. Lockers available to store luggage so you can do a local tour (even for a few days) and come back to retrieve the luggage. Located just at Bus-stop 9 which you can see from the big glass windows in the lobby, while waiting for your bus.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the location was convenient with the bus stop just around the corner, plenty of souvenir shops and dining places around. The rooms were pretty spacious, quiet, the bathrooms clean, and the breakfast delicious! We arrived very early, were tired after our flight, and we were let in couple of hours before their scheduled check in time!

The hotel was in a quiet area but with plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. It is also only a short walk from the cathedral and the old town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quiet. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and that was great. It was also close to the bus stops where a lot of the tour companies pick up. We would definitely return.

Everything was fantastic! From the moment we arrived the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky our rooms were ready so we checked in early and received a voucher for breakfast. THANK GOODNESS as my friends and I arrived early in the morning after a rough flight.

Great choice

This hotel was clean and accommodating. Everything you needed was included. It was perfect for exploring Reykjavik and convenient for bus pick up for tours, just around the corner from the main door. The included breakfast was good and it was a nice restaurant and bar.
