I booked a room with two double beds, but we were "upgraded" to a "better room" with only one bed instead of two. We specifically booked the original room because we needed two separate beds. The check-in process was unclear; we did not receive any emails with instructions on how to check in. The property supposedly sends an email with your room number, but when I arrived to check in, the place was so quiet—there was no reception or staff to help. I had to walk around the property to figure out where to go. I eventually found someone who told us our room number.
After realizing we did not get the room we booked, I tried to find someone to help us. I randomly found a woman who lived there, and she said she didn't know and suggested calling the hotel. Since I was traveling and didn't have a local SIM card, I couldn't call. Fortunately, she lent me her phone to call. The reception is virtual or located elsewhere, and they were unable to change our room.
The water in the shower was not warm enough, and the hair dryer didn’t work. It was clear that housekeeping hadn't checked if the hair dryer was functioning. With no reception, there was nothing we could do. I sent an email but still haven't received a response regarding our issues.
Terrible experience—do not recommend.
