Ideal location just a short walk from both the coastal/harbour area and shopping/tourist areas of the city. Clean and well equipped rooms and public spaces throughout. Would be good to have dedicated parking, but finding street parking spaces nearby was not difficult.

Hótel was excellent. Parking is a challenge, but there are public and private lots. Ask at check in for parking recommendations. Otherwise, beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a good happy hour at the bar (happy hours are my number one money saving hacks for fellow drinkers out there).

Parking was the only issue but we loved this hotel! Very comfortable bed and the room was spacious. The breakfast options were great. Everything is in walking distance as you are in central Reykjavik. We enjoyed our stay.

Great service, food, and location!
I signed up for a small fee upgrade for early check in. Our plane touched down at 6am, taxi was waiting for us (prearranged by hotel) and we arrived at hotel at 7am. Early check in entitled us to noon, versus standard 3pm. However our room was available, so they let us go up and that was so appreciated since we had red eye flight and nothing to do until noon. GREAT breakfast included as well!

I loved the central location. It was just blocks away from food, shopping, and the tour pick up bus stops. Hotel was modern with excellent room accommodations. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was offered daily. Sevice was good as well. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!

The Ideal Choice for Exploring Reykjavik
Hotel Reykjavik Saga is an excellent choice for your stay in Iceland. Its great location allows easy access to bus stops, taxis, and all the attractions Reykjavik has to offer, all within walking distance. The rooms are beautiful and impeccably clean.
