Snorri’s was a very fine guesthouse. I was on the top floor, the rooms are small, but I was only 1 person. I stayed 2 different times. The 1st time, my room was at the front of the house facing the street. I found the street noise bothersome, but others might not. The room did have its own sink, which I highly enjoyed. My 2nd stay was at the back of the house, and my room was very quiet, but no sink. Although the TV is satellite, there were only 3 channels (all BBC variety). On the 2nd floor the rooms are larger. There is no elevator, so pack light. I had to carry my suitcase up 2 flights on a spiral staircase. There was no trouble with the shared bathroom. All was clean and I felt very safe. The email arriving the day before your arrival has vital information you need. There is a phone # posted on the outside door if you have trouble, assuming you have an international calling plan. I did not, and I did not receive that email, so I had some trouble. But it was quickly resolved and things proceeded very well. Breakfast is good and all I needed: bread, hard-boiled egg, Skyr, granola, cheese, cucumbers, oranges, apples, etc. The coffee is strong for my personal taste. If you are arriving via bus (i.e., FlyBus), they will drop/pick you up at the bus stop #11, which is about 3 blocks away. This is fine if you packed light with good weather; if you are older, you might consider a taxi or car. Limited parking on the street. Yes, I would stay here again.
