Quiet, meditative retreat, light and bright
This is a nice place near the Omega Institute, tucked away with a nice woodsy walk in the neighborhood. The host cares about the quality of your stay. Nice, simple, clean, comfortable, everything you need. I will look to stay again in the future.

In the Woods
My friend and I stayed at Alysia’s place in the woods for a week while attending a workshop at Omega. It was just the quiet beauty we were looking for. We walked to Omega several days. It’s downhill on the way to Omega and a good uphill workout on the return. The house was quiet, comfortable and clean. Our hosts were attentive and helpful! We hope to return again soon!

Omega retreat
We live an hour and 1/2 away from the property and were attending a retreat at Omega. We had a wonderful retreat and the cottage was a great place to stay after each day of the retreat. Our hosts were wonderful. We would definitly stay again next time we visit Omega or go to Rhinebeck. Highly recommend.

This property was perfect in every way. Alysia gave me a warm welcome as soon as I arrived and the unit is absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable. I especially appreciated the little things that made me feel at home like there were paper towels in the kitchen, a jar with small toiletries if I needed any, the towels were lovely, the bed and sheets comfortable and there was a peaceful feeling inside. I felt like the host would be available if I needed her. She was especially gracious and warm and that helped make my stay memorable. I can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Beautiful and relaxing stay in the Rhinebeck woods
The apartment was an absolutely perfect place to stay for my Omega workshop. Clean, bright, comfortable and beautifully furnished—better than the pictures show! Communication was excellent with the hosts and they were welcoming and helpful. Ideal for a quiet retreat and surrounded by beautiful woods, yet easily accessible by car to Rhinebeck village for shopping and restaurants. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Wonderful time in a wonderful location!
My partner and I wanted to take a break from our hectic lives, and we certainly got it. The property is absolutely beautiful. It's airy and spacious, and fully stocked with whatever you need- we cooked for the majority of our meals. There was also an outdoor porch with a good view. The location was great- secluded but not too far from downtown Rhinebeck. However, the property was so nice we didn't go out as much as we planned and just stayed in a lot of the time enjoying the couches and each other's company. Finally, our hosts were gracious and available. They were there for check in, and nearby and easy to contact with any issues. We had a wonderful time!

Peaceful retreat near Rhinebeck
This relaxing and peaceful carriage house is within easy reach of the great little village of Rhinebeck and makes a great base to explore the FDR Library and Museum, the Vanderbilt estate, and much more. Everything is new and filled with great light. In the summer and fall it must be wonderful, since even in mid-February it was a beautiful spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous, brand new cottage in the woods which is every bit as beautiful as the photos - and the bed is super comfy! Property is remotely located down a one lane dirt road but at the same time close to all area attractions. We enjoyed both the peace and quiet and the accessibility to the village of Rhinebeck, a short 10-15 minute drive from the property. We were happy to find a large grocery store nearby, so stocked up a little upon arrival and enjoyed breakfast and one dinner in the cottage. Kitchen is fully appointed with anything needed to prepare a meal. We also enjoyed meals at Market St and Terrapin, both in the village of Rhinebeck, as well as brunch at the Eveready Diner which is directly across the street from FDR home/library. We were impressed with the FDR site and the Vanderbilt Mansion guided house tours, both loaded with historical significance. The FDR museum/library is very interesting to walk through self-guided. A little bit of shopping and antiquing rounded out our long weekend nicely. Very relaxing and educational weekend.

I arrived at peak fall leaves changing time. The drive in to the house is incredible. Not only did it see the beautiful trees, but a family of deer. Ladies getaway was a delight in this clean, beautiful cottage. Our hosts, Alysia and Russ couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. This cozy, beautiful cottage was very close to the quaint town of Rhinebeck. There is just so much to see and experience in the area, we will just have to come back again to enjoy it all!
