Come experience the great Northern Wisconsin outdoors. This home is located five miles from town, sitting on a dead-end road, with public access <2 minutes away. It is a quiet place perfect for retreats, family gatherings, romantic getaways, or simply a vacation with friends/family. Several restaurants and bars either a boat or car ride away. This four seasoned home is the perfect location whether you are looking for a quiet weekend escape, or to fill your weekend with outdoor activities.

The space:
Breathe the pure air with the state-of-the-art furnace and air purification system, soundless, and running 24/7-keeping your allergies to a minimum. Two bathrooms, three bedrooms, seven beds, two couches, two loveseats, and two blow up mattresses. Several large windows facing the lake for a relaxing view of the morning sunrise or evening sunset. Immaculate 835 square foot deck with barbecue opportunities and patio furniture allowing you to overlook the lake. Private fire pit and lawn chairs provided. Extra room for parking of boats and other trailers. Enjoy the lake as you paddle through the water with the included kayaks. If there is work to do, open the laptop while relaxing at the fire, in the hammock, on the deck or at the dock. The dock: great fishing, gorgeous sunrise views, and during the evening amazing tunes from the loons. Bring outdoor games or enjoy the ones provided (bags, polish horse-shoe, and ring toss).

ATV trails right off the driveway and snowmobile trails a short distance away-drivable from the driveway. Within 3 miles of multiple bars and local restaurants (Gilligans, Red’s, Pokegama Lakeside Tavern, Chetek Café, Phill’s, Chetek Bowling, Chetek Hydroflites Ski) and more. 30 minutes from a downhill ski resort, Ice Age National Trail (hiking/snowshoe trails), 40 miles from Eau Claire, WI, <2 hours from St. Paul, Duluth MN, 2 hours from Ashland/Bayfield WI (Apostle Island-Ice Caves on Lake Superior).

Walk out basement leading to the lake, firepit overlooking the lake front, Internet, smart 75” TV with Bose sound system, great Wi-Fi connection, strong cellular service for Verizon and AT&T, hammock chair to relax in, Gas and charcoal grill, private dock with 150’ of lakefront, fully supplied kitchen, linens and towels provided, 835 square foot deck, 2,200 square feet of living space, located on a dead-end with a public boat access <2 minutes away. This house is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom place, but the master bedroom will be locked for office and personal space-all other bedrooms are available for guest use. Coffee, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, and body wash will be provided.

Wonderful, Rain or Shine
We had a very lovely long weekend stay, three generations of family. Rain was quite prevalent, however the interior of the lake home is spacious and allowed us to play family games at the large table, enjoy meals together, watch the giant TV, take cozy naps, and so on. During the non-rainy portions of our stay, we enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, a huge, beautiful deck overlooking the lake and taking walks. The home appears to be recently updated with two bathrooms, lots of beds and a well stocked kitchen. The host of this property was communicative and accommodating. We would love to stay here at K & K's Lakeside Lodge again.

We enjoyed the property on the lake with our group of 10. Had teens thru grandparents. Enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, swimming off the dock and rented the pontoon for one day. Perfect location and Kevin was quick to respond to all my questions. Would love to come back again!

Family trip
We know Chetek well, it is a tradition! This time we went up for a wedding and a vacation. The property was clean and ready for us, steps to pier were great, and so was the pier itself. Check in and out were easy. Towels, blankets and pillows provided. 2 bedrooms are in the basement, so they are nice and cold!! A small storm came through, knocked out power for a few hours, did affect the pump for water as well. We communicated with the owner via text, and kept each other up to date on status of things! Overall, everything was fantastic, we fit comfortably, deck was beautiful, and we caught a few fish, right there! Thanks

As Advertised!!
We had a great and relaxing stay on this property. It was far enough away from town to feel at peace but close enough if we had to run out for something. Located minutes feom a golf course and steps from the lake this was a perfect family get a way. House was everything we expected and the deck and basement where a great extra bonus. 5star would recommend and will stay here again!!

Amazing Stay!
We rented this space for a lowkey bachelorette party and it was fantastic. Plenty of space both inside and on the deck plus an absolutely gorgeous view! The owner was great and super quick with communication. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay!
Visited Chetek with a few friends to celebrate recent life accomplishments. This place was perfect! Lots of space to hang out (both inside and outside) and a wonderful view of the lake. Only a few minute drive to get into town, very convenient! And Kevin was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great experience.

CLEAN AND WELL-STOCKED
This place was very clean and the best stocked property we ever stayed at! There was plenty of space and plenty to do! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board and the outdoor games. We brought our boat with and did a lot of tubing and boating. We had a good time exploring the other lakes and visiting some lakeside restaurants. Our only complaints were in regards to the lake itself. We’ve been in many Wisconsin lakes but never one this green with zero visibility into the water. We still swam but didn’t love the idea of getting into such green water. The lake also had a lot of shallow spots. We got a brand new prop before coming and it got chewed up pretty good from hitting sticks or rocks on the bottom. But overall we had a great stay and would still recommend it to other guests.

Great location
Worked out great with our family of many different ages. Loved the big deck on the back to keep the little ones on. The older ones loved the kayaks and board. Loved that it was the at the end of the street. Residence was very clean and well-supplied.

This was a quiet, clean, roomy property located on Mud Lake in Chetek WI. Very convenient to have lake with boat dock just steps away from the house. Nice deck at the rear of the property. 6 min. drive to the heart of Chetek. Enjoyed our second stay here, and looking forward to next year!
