Hotel has the feel of a castle. Room with high ceiling and nice decor. Ten minutes' walk to the train station. Plenty of convenience stores and budget restaurants (E.g. Lido) nearby. No kettle in the room.

Had big problems with wi-fi, could not get a signal, asked for advice at reception they said they would send someone up and investigate - still waiting and this was the first 24 hrs. They knew I would be arriving 15th but because I arrived 01:30 in the morning I was told it would be costing another day and they were told what time prior to arrival.

Nice and friendly staff, fantastic room with a big bathroom. Nice and clean. Good breakfast. Good location for a walk round the town. Defently oing bac again for the 4th time.

The staff was great, but the hotel could do with more staff. The bar and restaurant area is closed Sunday to Tuesday inclusive so if you would like a drink - including a cup of tea - you have to go to your room or out into the lovely town. Great breakfast buffet.

A wonderful place in Riga
What à lovely hotel! Our second stay. Great room, fabulous breakfast. And when we left at 4am for the airport they gave us bag lunches. We look forward to staying there again.

Wonderful hotel
Great hotel. 10 mins walk to centre. It’s how the wealthy lived in the 20s room slightly tired but adds to the magic of the place. Great breakfast but sometimes was not warm enough only criticism of a superb three night stay.

The building is stunning, really beautiful
The building is stunning, really beautiful. Breakfast was excellent also, various fruit, meat, breads etc. We had a big room but think we got upgraded which is always nice. Area is perfect, couple of mins outside the old town. Can catch the airport bus to the main shopping centre and walk from there (about 5 mins across the road).

Great area good hotel
Cute boutique hotel in a very good area. The only thing is that because it is on a Main Street it noisy at night. I just used a noise app on my phone to drown it out. Rooms we spacious, clean and just fine to mainly be touring around town anyway! I would say stay here for the location and price.

Lovely converted mansion.
Beautiful building, obviously a converted mansion. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great location. Even the "economy room" (which had small windows and a beam near the door) was large and comfortable. The restaurant/breakfast room could have been in a museum, with the opulent decor.
