This would be 5 stars if the area around the hotel was safe but the guards in front of the hotel made me always feel safe whenever I was in the hotel .

Room booked for 3 ppl had two towels and two pillows, no soaps in bathroom, wifi is there, just is, bcus it works like dial internet from 90s, phone to contact front desk worked as well as wifi, so each time we had to make a trip downstairs, check-in & one more stuff member from parking acted like we are a huge inconvenience & are bothering them just by being there. place went downhill, not recommended

The location of the hotel was not great for safety. The hotel also did not look like it had been cleaned for a year. The room was worn and needs a major renovation.

The hotel is new in the area. Area is up and coming, but is in an old part of the city. Lots of new construction around to better the area. Is 5 to 10 min drive to city center. Nothing in walking distance. Staff were very friendly. Hotel is clean and being maintained well.

very very close to the bus station. If you plan to take the bus the next day, it can be a great option for you. No restaurtants close to that place, so the best option is to use the hotel's cafe for dinner (buffet), which is not that bad. I was very surprised to see how many customers eating dinner at a hotel cafe! Due to the short distance to the bus station, it is not a very safe place with some traffic jams all the time. Overall, if your goal is to take a bus, it is a good choice.

I expected the area to be developing and at least have nearby restaurants, but there was nothing it was a ghost town. The actual hotel is nice, but has electrical issues. I had to get a new key to open the door and could barely charge my phone. I had to run in adding a friend to my room and they charged him erroneously and I couldn’t get them to reimburse him and charge me which I thought was tacky. so yeah, I find some Brazilian process is tacky and this hotel had some quirks.

Always stayed here from 2018-19-20 for 6-10 weeks at a time for work. Since then, the three years that have passed , it is jaded . Lifts are not reliable , no WiFi on the roof by the pool, which always used to work, and WiFi only works in some of the rooms and mostly only if you sit close to the door . Room key becomes blocked if it touches phone or other cards , had to return to reception 20 times in 3 weeks due to the same issue . Needs updating as 2018-20 it was great

second time staying @ this hotel during this trip indicates how nice it is to stay there lovely aparthotel a bit off the beaten track from all the touristy places but easy to get about the area if you are comfortable using the tram o/ metro systems if not uber is cheap in Rio pros - modern hotel , spotlessly clean , friendly staff , big rooms , big bed , lovely hot clean shower & toilet area decent buffet breakfast cons - bit out of the way if you are uncomfortable using public transport , cable tv very limited english language channels

wonderful hotel slightly out of the way in a fairly run down looking area that is actually very safe & close to the VLT ( tram) system that serves part of Rio pros - lovely good sized modern room with great shower / toilet facilities separate , very clean & modern, friendly helpful staff decent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice hotel afforded me early checkin & late checkout which helped immensely cons - if you are not prepared to use the Tram or Metro systyems the hotel is a little bit isolated from all the tourist attractions therefore youll spend more on taxis or uber gettting around cable tv very few english language channels overpriced around the new year period but thats Rio in general will return again on next visit to Rio
