Featuring a bedroom with a plush queen bed on the main floor, alongside another queen bed, ensuring restful nights for all. For added convenience, the lower level boasts a guest room with a twin bed, as well as a multifunctional space furnished with a twin bed and a full size trundle.

The cottage boasts two well-appointed full bathrooms . Additionally, an outdoor shower invites you to rinse off after a day spent at the Peconic Bay beach. Step outside onto the deck or patio, where you can bask in the tranquility of the tree-filled garden or gather around the fire pit for evening storytelling and stargazing.

Inside, the eat-in kitchen with a quaint breakfast nook serves as a central gathering spot, illuminated by natural light streaming through large windows. Enjoy meals at the kitchen table or grab a quick bite at the bar area with seating for two. For larger gatherings, the covered patio has a table accommodating up to eight guests. With its paved driveway and ample parking, this idyllic cottage promises a seamless and relaxing getaway for all.

Perfect Location For Us

My elderly mom was in between moves, and wanted to stay near her shop in Jamesport. This little gem of a home fit the bill, and more. The location, on a sweet, private road, steps to the beach- made every day special. The kitchen gets the morning sun, the house is well suited for easy living, on one floor, with a level back yard, and a spacious basement.it is all we needed and we enjoyed the charming house.

Cozy and comfortable Cottage on beautiful street.

This cottage is Comfortable, clean and fully stocked on a private street with a beautiful short walk to the beach. We were only 2 but house could easily sleep up to 8 guests. Large backyard with tranquil outdoor setting firepit and Barbeque. Host is very responsive welcoming and helpful. The nearby Main street has many restaurants and shops as well as Wine vineyards. Will definitely be booking again in future. We found a new love and that is Jamesport. Thank you Kelly!

Perfect location

Nice home good amenities. Location was perfect as it was about 1 mile from where my family was having a wedding. Walking distance to the beach was a plus although we did have weather for beach going. Comments made to the host were all well received. Would recommend.

Property Review

It was reasonably clean but had an odor like someone had smoked in it. The 3rd bedroom was in the basement. It was clean but the stairs were steep and it should not have been considered a bedroom. I think that it was false advertising.

Hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful two week stay! The house is very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need, lots of space to spread out, a lovely backyard, and the street it's on is beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the beach at the end of the road. It's almost completely private and is very peaceful. A great base for exploring the North Fork. Hope to come again.

Loved Lockett Cottage

This cute cottage just off the beautiful Peconic Bay in Jamesport was perfect for or family of 4. We could walk to the water to paddle board, enjoy the quaint restaurants and vineyards of the North Fork or relax by the fire in the yard - plus it’s leas than 30 minutes from the ocean or Greenport. Highly recommend this property and Kelly as a host!

Memorial Day weekend 2023

The property was in the perfect location close to the main road but quiet. The basement was a perfect place to chill, workout, or just be by yourself. Kelly was extremely responsive, my husband wanted to take an outdoor shower but couldn’t get it to work. I contacted Kelly and she immediately came over to help. We would recommend Kelly’s property

Lovely home in South Jamesport

We loved staying at Lockitt Cottage. The home was cozy and beautifully furnished. Truly a home away from home. There was plenty of space for our family a group of 6. The owners have a very helpful book with all the necessary information about their home and with many great suggestions for dining options and local activities. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and it's an easy short walk to a private beach. We would definitely consider staying at Lockitt Cottage again in the furure!

A great family house for our getaway

A wonderful house that easily accomodated our family. With three little grandchildren we appreciated the large backyard and spacious family room downstairs. The locataion near the water but also easy access to all the wedding events we had to attend made the house ideal. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. I only gave 3 stars to the communication with the property manager because we NEVER needed to communicate. Everything was just as expected. Very grateful for a lovely place to stay.

Cute cottage very close to the beach

This cottage is surprisingly spacious and very well located. Close to town, wineries, breweries, and walking distance to the bay. While the private beach is pretty small, you can walk a few minutes to the larger beach. The house is well-stocked and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed the clean & comfortable cottage—just steps from Peconic Bay! Perfect for families—well-stocked and includes a family space with tv, lots of games, laundry room, and more sleeping spots. The cottage includes roomy bedrooms, two bathrooms, outdoor shower, large yard w bbq grill, covered patio, fire pit and corn hole game. It was thoughtfully decorated and furnished! The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

Great house and good communication
