There was a strong smell of paint in the bathroom and a different odor in the hallway. I called ahead of time to see if they sold Tylenol and was told yes. So didn’t stop before I got there and it turns out it was Tylenol PM. I was overall disappointed. Then I found out that I paid through Travelocity, $10 more than what the hotel charged.

Roanoke Rapids stay
Room was large 2 queen beds. Only shower no tub however was clean. Bathroom had no trash can. Bed was comfortable & decent pillows. Staff friendly! Room had a musty smell initially room freshener helped. Would stay again nice breakfast variety & eggs weren’t fake ones. Convenient to interstate with lot of restaurants & stores near by.

There was a storm coming through the afternoon we arrived and the computer was acting up. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and apologetic. It was a bit of a wait to check in but no one’s fault. The young lady actually expedited the process very well considering the circumstances. There was a slat broken on the pull out bed but it slept okay. Breakfast was good as always.
Broken slat on sofa bed. There were LOTS of crumbs in the mattress also, but no stains or odors.

Whenever I visit Roanoke Rapids, NC my family and I always stay at this particular hotel. This hotel is the best hands down. I love that the restaurants are within walking distance. My stay wonderful. Breakfast was perfect. I just had 1 minor issues. Our room reeked with bleach. My daughter has asthma and the smell of bleach can cause a flare up with her asthma. The bleach smell was tolerable. I never knew housekeeping for hotels used bleach products. Maybe it's something new. Other than that, our stay was great.
