Review the fine print before booking here
The hotel requires you to upload your passport or drivers license into a third party site, without having a privacy policy that explains how your personal data will be used and protected. This may be in breach of the Australian Privacy Principles. The hotel also requires you to agree that they can charge $1000 to your credit card once your stay is over if they believe damages has occurred. These terms were not mentioned when we booked, so we have tried to obtain a refund via hotels.com but the hotel will not agree. We will be seeking a chargeback.
