Our bed sheets had old blood stains on the top sheet. There was a yellow washable stain on the toilet. There was dirt and old bottle cap under the window curtain. We will never stay there again. We stayed there 3 times before and it was nice, that's why we chose it. Woodcliff never gave us a break on the room. Just oh, we are sorry about that. I was not looking for a discount on our room, but it would have been nice to have it offered to us.

Arrived at 4pm and had to wait 1/2hr to check in for our romance resort package room only to be told they only had queen beds available for our RESERVATION. Then turned to a despondent manager who found us a king bed! Wife went to use bathroom in our room and had dried urine on toilet seat! I went down to front desk, because nobody answered when I called down, and was told housekeeping would be right up. About two hours later we get message query how’s your experience with Woodcliff? We replied that bathroom needed cleaning not expecting any response. However, someone did arrive with spray bottle and cloth and cleaned our toilet, leaving the toilet cleaning rag on floor at our front door! Took shower and no shower soap! Went to a very good dinner and waitstaff! Breakfast selections not available, had to go ask for coffee & water refills, a to go box. Generally the facility upkeep is very poor, same litter in stairwells over two days(elevators are just sad), cracked and pealing paint, Wi-Fi rarely worked. As a highway motel, I would give a 3 star rating. Woodcliff has potential, hope they get it together!

Ehhh, some good, some not so good
I stayed before & was not impressed this time. The front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. My 1st room had the sofa cushions on the floor, the HVAC unit taken apart w/ a dirty filter on the floor & a spill at the bottom of the fridge remaining from a previous guest. The staff was mortified & immediately moved me to another room. That wasn't bothersome to me, but considering the 4-star rating, wouldn't expect it. The bar staff are friendly. The food was good & they cook the food to order, correctly.The spa is beautiful, but pretentious & overpriced. If you want to enjoy the amenities offered, arrive 15 min early. I booked a massage which was comparably priced & I really enjoyed it. The pedicure I added the following day was abysmal. The girl was friendly, but the pedicure itself was lackluster. I arrived a few min late, (about 8-9 min) & apologized profusely, calling to notify them. It certainly didn't warrant a 30-min pedicure in lieu of the 50-min I paid for. The polish was uneven, some of my existing polish not removed & the experience existed of a literal 30-45 seconds of moisturizer & rinse. I wiped off the excess that wasn't rinsed. Non-existent filing or attention to anything, leaving my toes uneven. Then was charged $10 more b/c "prices went up yesterday". The girls at the desk need add'l training b/c this isn't the environment to speak down to clients. The manager called to make it right and I credit him with his professionalism. I suggest others follow suit.
