Our bed sheets had old blood stains on the top sheet. There was a yellow washable stain on the toilet. There was dirt and old bottle cap under the window curtain. We will never stay there again. We stayed there 3 times before and it was nice, that's why we chose it. Woodcliff never gave us a break on the room. Just oh, we are sorry about that. I was not looking for a discount on our room, but it would have been nice to have it offered to us.

Horrible experience and left in the middle of the night because it was not safe with a child. Out of control wedding guests in surrounding rooms and throughout Hotel. Waited to check in. No towels at pool and overflowing garbage.

I liked the pool but would have been more enjoyable heated. The hot tub was out of commission. The bar was far from the pool. The service was ok. The shower head sprayed out into the bathroom and the TV was antique with limited channels. No movies or streaming apps available

I have stayed at this property about 5 times in the last 10 years, and up until this last visit had been pretty satisfied with the accommodations. I will never go back now. I had to switch room 4 times during the one night. Yes, thats right. Terrible smells, wet carpeting, faucets that barely worker, dirt and peeling paint everywhere and then finally being woken up at 730am by a wedding party... exhausting to say the least. The property was renovated... well that means the wall paper in all rooms was painted over. They now look like motel rooms. Not high end hotel rooms.

Room was an accessible room. Good size and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was old and tired with stains on the ceiling and just really old. Wet bar faucet was so loose it wobbled like 3 inches. Bathroom shelf leaned so much nothing would stay without rolling off. Just disappointing for a “spa and resort”.

We picked this hotel because it was the only place in the area with a pool and room service. Traveling with a toddler, having the breakfast in bed option is ideal. Plus she loves the pool so we were excited to have two pools, which is really one with an indoor/outdoor option. We had an almost comically disappointing experience. The pool was too cold to enjoy. The hotel had a very noisy event the first night that went til 11 with thumping music. They could have put people with a kid on the other side of the hotel. There was a weird groaning/fog horn like noise that would happen intermittently and last 5-20 seconds and in the middle of the night it woke the kid up. And the room service menu is from 5-10 pm. We did encounter one lovely person at the restaurant who very kindly filled a bottle up with milk for us. And gave us some spare milk in a to go cup, which came in extremely handy when trying to get the kid back to sleep at 2am when the walls were groaning. Generally the hotel seems a bit run down but fine. The view is lovely. Convenient to being close to Rochester attractions but with space to get outside or be away from downtown.
