The room was incredibly hot! Turns out the A/C was broke. We got in so late, just to sleep. Felt warm when we got there, but just set the thermostat on cool and lowered the temp and fell asleep. Woke in the middle of the night with the room being even hotter. It was about 15-20 degrees cooler in the hallway, so I opened the door and stayed up -trying to cool the room down. Ultimately ended up sleeping in the chair next to the door with the door open with the chain on it. Didnt want to call someone, just to wake up my kids that desperately needed thier sleep. Tried to use the fridge to help cool the room, but the fridge didnt work either!

Neat Architecture
This is the coolest building, shaped like a triangle with the pool and conference center in the middle. Loved our room, looking forward to staying here again

The staff was great and the hotel Was clean. The rooms were dated, bathroom was small with low toilet water pressure. Had to wait 10 minutes to flush again. Mostly Dissapointed the bar and restaurant were closed due to “Covid” restrictions. Sorry, that’s a lame excuse. Would not have booked had that been mentioned on the site listing.

Another “meh” for Best Western
As with many Beat Western places, dark furnishings and poor lighting. Claustrophobic feel. Inadequate lighting for reading. Poor ventilation; room too hot, fan too loud. Breakfast unappealing. Not crazy about mass-produced rubbery omelettes. The architecture is interesting; the place is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Came in after a long trip around midnight, and the lady at the front desk got up from knitting and was very kind! She made the paperwork easy to follow, showed us a map to find our room, and again, was very friendly, the perfect social interaction after a day cooped up in a car. Our walk through the hotel was easy to navigate, although the pool was in the open floor plan so it was very humid and smelled of chlorine. But our room was very spacious, clean, and smelled nice! The only thing I have to point out, was that our thermostat wasn't very visible, and it was kind of chilly at night. Because we were tired and didn't have the energy to find it and turn it down, we just slept under the thin blankets on the bed and were a little chilly. There was also a complimentary breakfast with cold and hot options including eggs, sausage, bacon, as well as bagels and apple tarts and boiled eggs and yogurt and fruit. Overall the ambience was very nice and so was the customer service!

Ok room. Thin walls.
Room was ok. Walls were thin and I could hear the tv from the next room until well into the night and promptly at 545am. Lead to a restless bight with little sleep.
