Black Bear Hideaway: A bear-themed cozy and pet friendly lodge in Hocking Hills

Welcome to Black Bear Hideaway: a 2500 sq ft traditional lodge with a well-appointed kitchen and open floor plan. Featuring covered porches, a 6 person hot tub, and fire pit. The lodge also boasts 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and accommodates up to 14 adults/children. The minimum age to rent is 25 w/ proof of id.

For adult-only stays, we are capped at a maximum of 11 guests; and all adults must be age 25+.

Regarding family friendly activities: you will find a generous and flat front yard on this dead end street, a game room with foosball, air hockey, ping pong, board games, and large screen tvs w/ satellite.

Just a short drive to Hocking Hills State Park, this bear-themed lodge is a terrific option for family gatherings.

PAYMENT DETAILS: Half of the lease total is due at your time of booking. 30 days prior to your stay, the remainder is processed using the card on file. If you book within the 30 day window, the total is due at your time of booking.

This pet-friendly and tastefully decorated black bear themed lodge is situated on just over 4 wooded acres on a quiet residential street and includes 5 bedrooms, 3 full and one half bathrooms.

Enjoy the well-appointed kitchen that leads into the dining room or living room with a wood burning fireplace. The front and back of the home provide covered porches to relax and enjoy some time sitting, visiting, rocking, and eating outside.

Further amenities include a six person hot tub, outdoor fire pit with seating, game room on lower level, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, board games, and large screen televisions with satellite programming.

A short drive to Hocking Hills State Park and attractions makes this a terrific option for family gatherings, groups of friends, girls' weekends, or smaller corporate functions.

Will allow 2 small dogs up to 40 pounds each for additional rates.

Spring Break in Hocking Hills
Our family could not have had a better time at Black Bear Hideaway. The kids ages 5-8 absolutely loved air hockey and foosball and coming home to relax in the hot tub after hiking. The house is close to all the trails. We also loved watching the deer in the woods behind the property. The house was clean and had everything we needed! I had one question regarding check out procedures and I got a quick response from the host. Thank you for sharing your home!

We loved the cozy cabin! The open concept allowed to us to all spend time together, from grandma baking cookies in the kitchen to the toddler running around in the living. Everything was incredibly comfortable and perfectly suited to our needs.

Excellent facility and close to hot spots to hike in Hocking Hills. Abundant beds and bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. We could have invited some of our 3 grandkids friends.

Loved our short weekend stay at BlackBear Hideaway! We celebrated a friends weekend with 5 couples. The place was cleanly, very cozy, and ideal for such a group. The property owners definitely put a lot of thought and care into the place. Expectations for check out/ cleaning prior to departure were clearly delineated. Would definitely recommend bringing your own laundry soap and hot tub towel!

Spent the weekend with my family for Moms 50th birthday! The place was perfect for the amount of people we had and location was beautiful! The carpet and floors needed a good vacuum when we got there but otherwise clean and everything was as described!
