Highly recommend to not stay here it was dirty workers unprofessional they pool been down for a long time only bag breakfast with frozen sandwich and fruit manager very unprofessional wouldn’t even listen to my complaints face to face only offered a 20 percent discount for my first time in the south and had a horrid experience had to plug microwave into outlet on the floor cobwebs every room molded toilets loud bathroom fans just a terrible stay all around

The property was barely functional due to on going reovations. Most everything was a mess or in various stages of disarray. Only good thing was the bed. Comfortable. You really should have closed down during the renovations.

The hotel only have bag breakfast (frozen sausage biscuit, yogurt, banana muffin and granola bar). Front end manager stays in her offices and speak very loud instead of coming out to address your concerns at the front desk properly. The bottom of the doors do not touch the floor and are very worn. The beds are soft, worn and oddly comfortable. Housekeeping is very friendly and the Manager Sheila and Eric truly go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need to make sure you are comfortable. The telephone in the room does not work at all. But most important they are PET FREE ( pet dander sets off my asthma) !

Not a place to stay
Front desk clerk was very nice however the condition of the rooms were unfit to stay. I reserved 2 rooms. One room had debris from the construction that was currently happening outside . The debris was scattered throughout the room. The other room smelled so bad that it was unbearable. I totally think that it needs shut down until all rooms are gutted and updated. The pool has been closed and not operational for a while.

I’m sure it will be nice when it is finished but under construction everywhere, restaurant closed, pool closed, no air conditioning on the main level. Staff were understanding and let us check out early. Just needed to let people know prior to booking. Give it a year and it’ll be nice

I nearly hurt myself slipping on the floor in the middle of the night because the hotel's climate control was no match for the humidity. I had to lay down towels to keep from slipping.

Not a good stay.
Breakfast came in a paper bag. Cold sandwich. And snacks. Not appetizing. Room smelled mildewy. Place looks abandoned. Doors broken as you walk in. Landscaping terribly maintained. Spend a little more and go somewhere else.

I wish you had a zero. This property was disgusting. I have never stayed at a Choice Hotel and had such an awful experience. If I had of been able to get a refund, I would have cancelled the minute I drove into the parking lot. Marijuana use in parking lot and in the hotel was prevalent. The hotel smelled of marijuana and several of the overhead fire extinguishers were taped off with plastic. Bugs and dilapidated building. No breakfast and pool was drained. Outside of the facility was just as bad with grounds unkept.

I had to book this hotel as a backup. I booked 2 hours before checkin. I got there checked in at 3:15, they told me my room was not ready for another half an hour. I asked them if there was any way to override that as I had a graduation to go to. She did some calls and found a room and told me it would be ready in 5 min. I went out to my car gathered my family and our belongings. We walked all the way to the room number wrote down and it was wide open and dirty. We then walked to the other room as perhaps I got the rooms mixed up. Nothing. We walked back down to the lobby as the manager was there and said that we were going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. In the middle of me and my husband trying to figure out what to do in this time crunch, the manager storms by us saying she will go help them clean the room herself to get it done. As we were told there were no more rooms and had no choice but to wait… we walked outside, spoke and he went back in. Not even gone for 5 minutes he comes back with a room key and says it was my attitude. Maybe it was our interracial relationship that bothered them.
