Fully furnished self catering apartment situated just beyond Rockley Golf & Country Club, Barbados. This beautiful one bedroom apartment is ideally suited for 2 people, but can sleep up to 4. The bedroom contains a double bed as well as a sofa bed. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. Both rooms contain air conditioning and ceiling fans. All windows have mosquito screens. The fully equipped European kitchen with breakfast bar comprises a large electric oven, 4 zone ceramic hob, microwave, full size fridge-freezer, toaster, blender, kettle and all necessary utensils. There is also a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. An iron and ironing board are available. The property features a large balcony furnished with table and chairs and there is a communal swimming pool. The apartment is ideal for a relaxing self-catering Caribbean holiday and also perfect for the golfer, whilst being close enough to all of the amenities that both St. Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown have to offer.

Lovely apartment but make sure you can get a car too.
Wonderful apartment, all facilities needed were there. Lovely & clean & lovely pool. The main problem was the pin on the web site is on completely the wrong place & appears to be on the road just behind the beach implying a short walk to the beach. It is not it is a good 20 min walk which was very difficult for us as we have 4yr old & had chosen the location so we could walk to the beach as we knew we couldn’t afford to hire a car. If you are fit/ without young children or at least intend to get a car then this place is really great. Would go again if I made sure I had enough for a car too :)

Well kitted out and spacious
The positives: Fully kitted out apartment and supplies- plenty of towels, sheets, magazines, crockery, dishes, pool chairs, clips, lots of activities for kids if you have them, etc. Very quiet location with lovely wildlife visits- roosters and monkeys Pool to ourselves Patio was fabulous Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful property manager Great layout and very thankful for the air conditioning Excellent water pressure in the shower 😁 The negatives: When we first arrived there were hairs in both hand soaps in the bathroom from someone else. There were grease stains on the bottom of the oven that I had to scrub. The distance to the beach was a 35 minute walk so we ended up paying a premium in taxis- I'm not sure if it was VRBO's mistake or what happened but it appeared on the website to be much closer to the beach than it actually was. We assumed from the map there was a path to the main road to get to the supermarket but there's no through road over the golf course so we had to hike it all the way back around. I think it's important to inform guests about that. You’ll pay a premium in taxis (15 Bds/ride) if you don’t want to hike up the hill at the end of a beach day. Some of the linens had obvious stains on them, I'm sure they were clean but they may need to be replaced. The lighting in the bedroom- An extra lamp would be beneficial. I would use the tall mirror to get ready bc the bedroom was the only place we turned the AC on but the lighting was difficult to see anything. The outlets were just that little bit too far for the hair dryer to reach. Your place provided all of the cleaning materials (hand soap, toilet paper, bathroom cleaner, laundry soap) except for dishwasher soap. It would be helpful to have a label on which tray the laundry soap goes into when using it. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time, the neighbours were lovely, the apartment had more than enough space & equipment and we appreciated the AC and dishwasher. We would recommend the place to anyone that had access to their own transportation in a heartbeat.

Not quite as advertised!
The property was advertised as being in a quiet location. This was factually incorrect. We were disturbed from dawn to dusk by the constant noise of the cockerels . If I had been forewarned I wouldn't have booked. There was a lack of lighting in the apartment making it difficult to read. Two bulbs had gone in the kitchen which were reported as soon as I arrived. We leave today and they have still not been replaced! The property is in need of decoration. The shower was leaking. Not what we expected!

A very well equipped and maintained apartment, perfect for a quite holiday, 20mins walk to the beach
We love Barbados and have visited the island many times. We were looking for somewhere to stay for 4 weeks , where we could get away from the cold English weather and just live. Birgit (Drixi) and Fitzroy's apartment fitted the bill perfectly. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you would need. The only thing we found missing was a T.V. But as we had taken our laptops and their was free wifi we easily overcame this problem. Springcourt Complex is very quite and well maintained with a lovely pool area. It overlooks Rockley Golf course (although there is no access to it nearby) so you can sit on the balcony and have a great view of the 3rd fairway and the green monkeys taking their daily stroll. It is a good 20 mins walk to the beach but this is easily do able. I would personally recommend some form of transport. We hired a scooter for one week and a car for another. We found the scooter to be great fun and travelled across the whole island on it.

Awesome quiet well maintain place
The purpose of this trip was mainly to rest while enjoying the great temperature and Accra beach... So we did. This apartment is 20 minutes walk to Accra beach which is a great beach and great location in general. Few times we took a cab but most of the time we have walked and bus. The condominium is awesome, all appliances works great, really well maintained, we ate most of the time on the balcony , the pool is great and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. This place is cosy and quiet. The owner Birgit was really helpful, provides plenty of information and is great to deal with. Thank you very much for those wonderful vacations.

Well kitted out, lovely apartment
We really enjoyed our stay at this cute apartment. It is stocked with all the necessities and really well furnished and equipped. Even though there is only one bedroom, we (3 adults) had a comfortable stay thanks to the pull out sofa in the living room. We always rent a car when we visit Barbados and would recommend doing so, as there is so much more to explore beyond the south coast. However, the apartment is near Rockley beach, which is a nice beach and also offers lots of restaurant options. So venturing far is not necessary if you don't want to. The communal pool is also a great place to cool out if you prefer staying close to home! The house manager, Dawn, was incredibly helpful and readily available when we needed her.
