The property was located in a safe area with great dining options close by Walkable to many tourist locations. Room was clean and comfortable and amenities adequate. Only dislikes were that the after hours entry was tricky and while the property advertised they had a lift there was also a set of stairs to negotiate that was not explained. Also shower went cold mid shower on a couple of occasions. However would recommend

Our stay at Antica Residenza del Corso was absolutely wonderful! The location couldn’t be more perfect—just a short stroll to iconic landmarks like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. Being able to walk to these attractions made our trip so much more enjoyable and hassle-free. The rooms were a pleasant surprise—recently remodeled, spacious, and impeccably clean. They perfectly blend modern comforts with the charm you'd expect from a historic Italian residence. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. A special mention goes to Frederica, who made our stay even better with her warm hospitality and attention to detail. Not only did she provide excellent travel tips, but she also went above and beyond to arrange car services, making our transfers smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a central, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in Rome, Antica Residenza del Corso is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

I can recommend Antica Residenza del Corso as a lovely alternative to a hotel in Rome. Frederica (manager?) really made our stay easy in every way. Frederica contacted us - initially through expedia and helped us with airport transfers, directions and clear instructions about arriving after hours, and extensive advice on local restaurants/bars suitable for every meal and time of day. It is located centrally in Rome just off Via del Corso in the middle of a fashionable shopping district, within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, bars, tratorie, osterie, bars, bakeries and many of Rome's famous sites e.g. Pantheon, Trevi fountain. It is also great for every form of public transport. The room itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It may be a little uncomfortable on a really hot day, which we did not experience but there isn't great air circulation.

A-mazing Stay at Antica!
Our stay at the Antica Residenza del Corso hotel in Rome was fantastic! Recently remodeled, our "Superior Studio Suite" room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. We were especially impressed by the bathroom, which was just as spacious and elegantly adorned with marble. A Great location for us to walk to famous landmarks and enjoy neighborhood eateries. Only drawback would be the access to our "hotel", The entrance is not the usual easy access a traditional hotel offers. You have to walk through a hallway, then a courtyard then the small lift that brings you to the 4th floor then you have to take your suitcase down a set of marble stairs to reach the check-in desk. According to the very capable and friendly hotel manager, Frederica, Antica takes up a floor in a building that was built in the 17th century. Just wanted to point that out for future travelers (esp. with heavy luggage) that may not be as able bodied as my husband and myself.

The staff at this hotel were fantasyoc and very helpful i can an not fault at all. The room however was not what i expected, i assumed this was a hotel but instead it was a room in an apartment. The bathroom was not clean and needs a full gut ans remodel as well as the room. It reslly needs revamp.The pillows were flat Iikea pancake and bed was really uncomfortable. If it wasnt for the good staff and location tbis hotel i would not rate at all. Unfortunatel it is not hotel I would go back to.

Although the staff offered to help with directions and taxi bookings, their disinterest in addressing accommodation issues was disappointing. We endured cold showers for the duration of our stay, and despite repeatedly notifying staff, the problem remained unresolved. After pre-paying in full for our booking, we made several unsuccessful requests for a reasonable partial refund from the hotel, due to the discomfort experienced during our stay. All requests were declined by the hotel. Additionally, constant construction noise outside our window further marred our stay. This was ongoing, and not a one-off event, and guests should be informed of such disturbances before booking. Despite some positive aspects, these significant issues and the staff's lack of genuine concern overshadowed our experience. Once guests have paid, it seems there’s no chance of recourse or reimbursement from the hotel if problems arise. After returning to one’s home country from abroad, it seems there is little chance of assistance from this hotel.
