My hotel stay was not the great. It was a very hot day and their Air-conditioning wasn’t working. They had the doors open because of this and it made it hotter. We had to eat a different hotel because it was so hot and it was a bit crowded so it made us feel hotter. We were able to put our bags safely stored away because we werent able to check in. We also were allowed to use pool prior to check in. The bar had good drinks and the pool was nice. The restaurant menu is limited. When we were able to check in we were told the elevators weren’t working and that we had to carry our 6 suitcases up Flights of stairs. We were exhausted, sweaty and in a bad mood after this. The ac in the room felt like a regular fan. We asked why is the Ac not working and they said it was a regional issue. When we went to a nearby hotel names Midas. The ac in the hotel Was amazing so we ate there. We tried to book a room there even if it meant losing our money from belstay but they didn’t have any availability. When we returned to Belstay we told them that Modas hotel had ac and then said it was a hotel issue. So we requested a fan for our room and they said they had none . We had a horroble night and we were unable to sleep. My husband had to sleep on The floor close to the ac vent and that wasn’t Much help. I slept with a neck fan on but the rest of me was hot and uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here if you have medical issues and/or struggle to tolerate the heat.

Nice Hotel and friendly staff
We chose this hotel, as the 2nd part of our holiday, as it was located on the outskirts of Rome. It's a very nice spacious hotel, with good facilities, clean room, friendly staff, and nice buffet breakfast. The dinner menu is very limited, and the nearest restaurant is approx 15 minutes walk.

We booked two nights at this place with High Hopes because of the pool, free breakfast and seem like a new clean place. This was at the end of our two weeks in Italy this year. Sadly, it was the worst place. We stayed the whole trip actually the only bad place we stayed the whole trip, the other seven hotels were amazing so I would still recommend going to Italy just please do not stay here very rude staff unless you buy from them then they’ll give you a smile if you just ask for a wine opener for your wine that you got at the winery They are very pissed and will tell you we only have one opener in this whole place so you have to bring the bottles down here lol sat part was the condition of the room bathroom, many cuts and scrapes on the doors, etc. in the corners other places are not like this just so you know I am being totally honest here and yes, the pool looked beautiful, but you were not allowed to swim in it. They had it roped off saying it will not be open for another month although it was 24°C outside would’ve been nice considering we book the place because of the pool.

The good things first: The reception has lots of space, there were always several staff ready to help The local bar/restaurant is available, we could get a snack outside working hours There is a shuttle bus to the nearest metro station in the morning and in the evening and the driver was very friendly Things to be improved: No shuttle to the airport, you can get a taxi for 50 EUR Shuttle bus should be more frequent The rooms need renovation No good mobile connection Breakfast service could be improved There were ants in the room

Room very cold and dusty, Bathroom needs an upgrade, toilet seat old, cracks on the wall and floor. Nothing to do around in walking distance. The only good thing it was the shuttle that they had during the morning and evening, to take us from hotel to subway station and back.
