I was told I could do early check in and once I got there to call her assistant Amil. When I arrived, Amil did not answer his phone. Luckily, another couple was leaving and let me inside the building. When I got inside the courtyard area, no one was there. I called for Amil's name and luckily he showed up. Only, he doesn't speak English and seemed to have no idea who I was despite being told in advanced.
I showed him pictures of the listing and told him numerous times I had booked Blue. He called Sylvia and after some back and forth he finally got me keys. When I got into the apartment it looked different from pictures, but all I wanted after an extremely long travel day was a shower.
There wasn't any towels, so I had to hunt down Amil. I had my suspicions that the towels weren't clean based on the musky and smoke smell. My suspicions were confirmed after I took a shower and noticed a red hair on the towels. I messaged Amil about the issue, but no response. I went back into his office and asked for clean towels. I was given towels, but these had mascara stains on them and the same musky, smoky smell. It also turns out Amil gave me the wrong apartment. At this point, I wasn't coming back early from sightseeing. I figured I'd switch rooms when I returned. However, Sylvia took matters into her own hands and moved my stuff, which I wasn't entirely comfortable with. Sylvia is very nice. but I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
