Beautiful Terrace on Rome

It is a unique but comfortable environment of 33 square meters, with a large and pleasant terrace where to spend some nice moments of relaxation. The apartment is really silent and is equipped with everything you need to spend a pleasant holiday. It is located in the San Giovanni district on the last and 7th floor of a Umbertino building a few hundred meters from the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, the Scala Santa and very close from the Colosseum and the Domus Aurea which can also be reached on foot. The neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants, bars, pastry shops, malls and supermarkets, it is well served by public transport, metro A and C (in 10 minutes you can reach Piazza di Spagna, 15 in the Vatican Museums, 10 minutes from the Circus Maximus and Imperial Forums) 300 meters from the apartment there are many bus lines to get to the historic center 15 minutes to the Basilica of San Pietro, 20 minutes to the Appia Antica and the Villa dei Quintili.

Lovely apartment - amazing terrace - great amenities
The host was great at communicating. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was incredibly convenient for getting around the city. You felt like you were in the "real" Rome and not surrounded only by other tourists. Shopping was great nearby. It was great having an elevator and washing machine. But the best part was having breakfast on the Terrace every morning.Traveled as a solo woman and felt safe and comfortable in the apartment and the neighborhood.

Honeymoon stay
The host was very responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. Check in instructions were very detailed and she provided pictures too. We stayed over Christmas week and she gave us panettone and wine for the holidays. We accidentally locked ourselves out right before check out with all of our stuff still inside because we didn’t know that even when unlocked, in Italy at least, you still need the key to open the door. Lesson definitely learned! But I messaged the host and her mom came with her key. We were back in within 20 minutes. Very happy with our stay. We’ll remember this trip forever.

Great apartment
Great apartment, 7th floor, secure and has a lift. Patio outside is great however the sewer vent can smell bad so one has to sit away from it. Good location next to shops and close to metro and buses. Air con is great. Had a comfortable stay. Maybe couple of extra towels would’ve been great for a long stay. Good communication with the host.

The studio apartment was exactly as described, except the statement that breakfast is included. There are “treats” in bags. Lots of jam to put on nothing. Instant coffee. So very disappointed. We did as for a refresh of water and requested something fresh. We received a cake and dessert. We booked this specifically as it advertised breakfast included. I would remove this statement in the listing as it’s very misleading. No instructions for the washer/dryer and when asked it was shared there are many so we winged it and unfortunately not everything came out clean. We enjoyed the location and the use of the metro. Metro A line is currently only open til 9 pm. The key holder is across the street, we figured that out. The elevator is a God send, 7 flights would have been too much on a daily as my husband recently had surgery. Don’t forget to close both sets of doors so it works properly. There is a button on the wall near the elevator that unlocks the front door so you don’t need the key every time. All in all we have a nice stay.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at this amazing apartment! Rome was an incredibly city. We were so thankful to be so close to the metro but also so close to some amazing restaurants and shops. I cannot recall the names of the places we visited near by but honestly, google was a tool we used all throughout Italy so go with a well reviewed restaurant and you can’t go wrong. The host has some really great restaurant resources in the apartment too! She was fabulous and very responsive whenever we had a question. Loved the terrace. Just perfect, perfect, perfect.

It’s okay until we want to shower. The water is extremely too hot and too cold it doesn’t matter how you regulate it. Also the kettle to boil water is dirty. The door to apartment is hard to open. Thank GOD to the neighbour(Maurizio).In return we bought him a bottle of red wine.😂😂

An excellent value!
Loved the location, just outside the city fray but close to everything. Very close to public transportation. Host was very responsive. The apartment is very small but the terrace is huge. The problem for us was a lack of garden furniture ; just a broken seating unit near the sewer vent and some very uncomfortable wooden folding chairs . It could be fabulous .

Awesome accommodations in Rome
Thank you Giulia. The stay at your property was the best. Everything needed for the stay was provided. The pictures on the site were exactly as is. The location to transportation was excellent.. The bus and metro. The location to shopping, restaurants were also very convenient. I loved the balcony, just loved sitting on it admiring the fresh plants and flowers. No problem with the communication with Giulia. LOL, had an issue with the key getting into the apartment and Giulia's mom came to help immediately. Lastly, I have to make a shoutout to the wonderful neighbors on the floor. They were so helpful during our stay. If visiting Rome again would definitely stay at this property.

This property had a lovely terrace on the top floor and the place was exceptionally clean and well stocked. On the smaller side but it fit my needs as a place just to lay my head down at night. The host was very gracious and responded to messages immediately. Conveniently located, about a 2 minute walk to the metro station.

Comfortable and great location for dinner and the metro.
We traveled quite a bit on the metro. This apartment was conveniently located between two stations with a short walk to either one of them. There’s a grocery store around the corner. We felt very safe.

Excellent option for solo traveler or couple
Giulia is attentive and stays in touch. Charming studio apartment with very nice terrace. All the amenities are there: coffee, some snacks, washer, etc. Far enough from the touristy places to get a more authentic flavor of Rome, yet close access to Metro allows to be at the major sites in minutes. Loved it.

Cozy stay
A cozy apartment, completed with a kitchenette and a nice terrace. We found it to be comfortable and very clean, with all necessary amenities (stove, washing machine, dishwasher, closet, TV, AC, etc). Very convenient location: just a short walk away from the Metro Line A (Re di Roma – takes you to most popular tourist spots) and several restaurants, pizzerias and supermarkets. If you have a car and plan to take day trips outside of Rome, getting to any highway (autostrada) is very easy and convenient. Furthermore, a garage is just next door (daily rate), so you do not have to worry about finding a parking spot on the street or damage to the car, especially if it is a rental car. The host Giulia is always available to answer any question and provide any help. For sure we will stay here again if we will be in Rome in the future.

Rome from the Rooftop
This was a cozy, beautiful condo with an amazing rooftop terrace overlooking the neighborhood. Loved that there was laundry available. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had beautiful tile work. The space in the condo was used very efficiently and no luxury was missing. Several shops and places to eat where just outside the building yet far enough away from the hussle and bussle of tourist attractions. Perfect location! Enjoyed our hosts responsiveness upon our arrival, especially when technology of the app failed us. Highly recommended this place when traveling to Rome.
