We had a family room, 1 queen and 1 single. Surprisingly, the room also had 2 bathrooms! This hotel is an easy walk from the train station and also allows easy access to the subway. The property is very clean, staff are friendly and helpful and there is a good buffet breakfast available. No hesitation in recommending it.

Great stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Universo
I had a short 2 night stay that was part of a longer trip around Italy. The 2 previous hotels I was at had tiny showers so I was very relieved to find a huge shower at Best Western Plus Hotel Universo. I was also please at the location making it extremely easy to get to pulling a large suitcase.

We loved that we have close access to the termini which allowed us to use this if we needed, but we did find that we could walk easily around from here - it was enjoyable walk into the city center. Slight hills to navigate but worth it. You stumble across so much of Rome by walking its streets. This hotel is modern and has everything you need.

The bathroom is clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast coffee tastes awesome. The location is OK, a bit busy, but we feel safe and it is walkable to the Termini. What we are not very impressed with is the smell of the carpet when the AC is off. The stairs inside the room are unbelievably noisy, but not sure if it only that room.

I was comfortable here. The location was great. I was just annoyed bc it was obvious they didn’t actually clean the bathroom when they did housekeeping. The toilet began to smell after several days. It could’ve used a proper cleaning.
