The weather was unusually warm and wished the AC were cooler for sleeping. Couldn't open windows for air during the night because of traffic noise.

Hotel Lancelot is located about a quarter mile from the roman ruins. You literally don’t have to drive anywhere after you get there! The hotel serves an excellent breakfast! Staff is friendly and very helpful. I defiantly would stay there again if I come back to Rome. The only bad thing I can think of is there's literally no parking on the street! It’s always full. Lancelot has parking for your car but it costs 25 euros a day.

Location was great. Just a 7 minute walk to the colloseum. Friendly staff at the hotel, very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Convenient Location and Great Service” We recently stayed at lancelot hotel and its proximity to the Colosseum was perfect for us, as we primarily wanted to do a tour of the Colosseum being our second time in Rome we had already been to the other main attractions. That being said, it’s not central, hence, a fair walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and the Vatican. The front desk workers were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our overall experience very pleasant. Breakfast each morning included a nice variety of options, such as brioche, cold cuts, cheese, and an assortment of fresh fruits. There were also a few nice little restaurants within walking distance, which added to the convenience. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, and towels were changed daily. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Still the best hotel in Rome
This was our sixth stay at the Lancelot, although it is 15 years since the last one. It was wonderful to find that the hotel is still just as lovely. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. The rooms are charming and spacious, with comfortable beds, plenty of storage and excellent amenities. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful with lots of choice and a great selection of fresh fruit. The location is perfect-close to the Coliseum but on a quiet street. It is only 5 minutes walk to a metro station or 20 minutes right into the heart of Rome. There are dozens of restaurants closeby. We certainly won't leave it fifteen years before we return.
