I stayed at the Cross Hotel with my two daughters at both the beginning and end of our trip, and it was a great experience both times. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better. It was very walkable with lots of great restaurants nearby and easy access to the Colosseum and other major sites. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it felt like a great home base for exploring the city. The only small suggestion I have is to bring your own blow dryer because the ones in the rooms aren’t the best. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Very happy with my stay here, the room was very big and comfortable with a big balcony and cozy beds . The breakfast was amazing!! So many things to choose! Friendly and nice front desk .

This hotel has been the best thus far on our Europe trip! I highly recommend this place as they are very friendly and extremely helpful. Angelica is the absolute best!!!!! So knowledgeable and extremely kind. She made our visit to Rome a wonderful experience. Seriously don’t look any where else, this hotel has it all. Good food, comfortable room, and very easy to hop on a bus (stop is at the hotel) or walk 10 min and hop on the metro line. 5+ stars!!!

We stayed at the Cross Hotel during a recent visit to Rome, and overall it was a great experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its location, it’s within walking distance to several major sites. In particular, it’s very close to Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, and just a short walk to the stunning Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, which made it easy to explore some of the city’s most beautiful churches on foot. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were well-maintained and quiet which is a nice retreat after a long day of sightseeing. However, it’s important to mention that the surrounding area can feel a bit dark at night, and there are quite a few homeless people along the way and even directly across the street. While I didn’t have any negative encounters, it’s something to keep in mind, especially if you’re walking back late in the evening. If you’re looking for a hotel with few amenities and convenient access to some of Rome’s historical churches and landmarks, Cross Hotel is a strong choice, just be aware of the local surroundings after dark.

I loved my weeks stay at the Cross Hotel. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. Helping with rides to and from airport, directions and rides to great restaurants the best sites and all the touristy things I wanted and needed. The breakfast included was my favorite. There was a great variety of hot food that filled me for most of the day. I traveled solo and recommend this Hotel to anyone headed to Rome. Ps: I forgot to mention the Garden bar and rooftop! So much fun.

The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to the Coliseum which was my main reason for booking. It's a straight 25 minute walk but there is very little in the way of decent cafes or restaurants in the immediate area. There is a metro station 10 minutes away so getting around is no problem. The Cross is a modern hotel and is well recommended.
