The Republic Hotel
Nice clean hotel within 2 blocks of Termani Station in Rome convienent for transportation. Had a locked luggage storage room that we used since we arrived before checkin which was nice. There are a few steps to get to the elevator. Also there was an unusual malfunction of their electrical lock system but it kept people locked out of there rooms. They did have standard keys they had to hand out for access to the rooms until they got the system reset.

Excellent hotel. Convenient location to train station. Walking distance to some top Rome attractions. A little further outside making taxi/uber necessary every day. AC was amazing in rooms which was needed during the heat wave. Laundromat close by!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The main thing- it is very clean. The beds are comfortable and we found out if you need any extra pillows or anything else you just need to ask. The staff are very nice and gladly help you out. The breakfast was very good. It was nice to have such a great variety of food to start off our morning. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away. Many sites can be walkable. However, it was so hot we could not attempt it. We would gladly go back to this hotel again.

We reserved this hotel because it was closed to Roma Termini. Ii is only 3 blocks from the station. The breakfast is one of the best I have had, great variety of selections , fruits, cheese, bread, eggs, juices. We will stay again.

The attention of the receptionist was very good and the gentlemen who help carry the suitcases very attentive. The bathroom, the toilet was constantly broken and the toilet did not work well. It is very close to the train station, but there are many beggars and pickpockets. The surrounding restaurants are mediocre, the food is not very good. The dining room is too small for breakfast and the quality of the food is not very good.

The room was so small it barely fit two people led alone 3!!! We were tripping over each other the entire time. There was not enough space to open your luggage. For the 3 of us they gave us one luggage rack! The area to hang cloths was enough for 1 person! No desk or chair. The only trash can was a small one in the bathroom. It looked nothing like the picture; it was clean, but dusty! Breakfast buffet was simple and ordinary, good but very limited selection. When I asked the front desk that we were promised a single bed and a full/queen for 3 people, they told us that they had no such thing and that is all they have!!! Our room had a queen bed and a small sofa (not a fold out sofa bed either). This room literally was sardine can! In the States, making 3 people stay in this size room is against the fire code! We got scammed and I am very unhappy about it. The elevator fit 3-4 people at most without their luggage and it was the only one in the building (for customers and hotel staff and service). The hallways were so tight that you had to pass through single file. The AC was great in the rooms, but there was no AC or ventilation in the hallways, staircase or the elevator! The staff was generally very nice; however the only staff available after 11pm was the front desk person (not persons!); if you needed any last minute thing urgently, good luck. If I was the only one traveling, the room we got would have been fine, but not for a family holiday.
