Room had an awful smell. Otherwise it was very clean. Breakfast had a good array of options. Area was close to mall, there was a shuttle service to/from hotel to mall for free. I was told area was not safe so took advantage of shuttle to go to the mall which was very nice, had several supermarkets inside as well. I did like being able to reserve a car pickup from airport to hotel- did this by emailing them- was very affordable. $35 usd. Driver (Phumlan) was very friendly and informative. Staff at hotel were all very friendly as well.

We loved our stay at the Southern Sun. The room was fabulous and staff were very professional and helpful. It’s an easy walk to the Mall and the Rosebank train and bus station.
