The staff were wonderful but the drive was being torn up while we were there. If it were not for that it might have been good. We were the only ones staying there the second night, first night only one other couple. Bed was comfy, bathroom updated and evenings were quiet. Staff gave helpful tips for things to do in the area.

The property has been renovated and very fresh and clean. Comfortable bed. Good heating. Private mineral pool was very relaxing and we enjoyed it very much. We will stay there again next time we go to Rotorua.

Heated swimming pool all to ourselves ... plenty parking.road was quite noisy but earplugs solved that. Place has and is being refurbished so was lovely. Easy walk to town

This was a great hotel for price. Nothing super fancy, but really clean and comfortable. The mineral pools on the premises were fantastic. The staff was super!

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at The Cleveland. We were greeted with chocolate and an upgrade which made our day. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was great to have the pool for an end-of-day swim. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The room had a slight odour and the thermal pool had stuff that stirred up with movement that shortened my time there. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were clean and functional.

For what we paid I expected way better from this motel. For almost $600 NZD per night I at least expected it to be clean. The shower, appliances and walls were filthy. Extremely disappointed. The best thing about this motel was the location for our activities while in Rotorua.
