We loved staying at Mount Edgecombe. It was so comfortable. Our room was stunning. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The restaurant and bar area were cosy and beautiful and enhanced with pretty Christmas decorations and a stone cave made it more cosy. We would definately recommend it and would love to stay there again.
Welcoming, friendly, efficient staff. Fabulous lunch on arrival in the new restaurant.
Lovely bedroom, slept really well. Big bathroom. The room was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty. We really loved this hotel which is convenient for the town centre and the nearby theatre is only a ten minute walk. Wish everywhere we stayed was as good as this place. Well done everyone.
Was a perfect stay until we turned the lights out to sleep - room 1 needs some curtains or something as the light from the sign lights up the room so much, it’s too bright in the room and didn’t get much sleep.
Lovely property. Nice spacious room, good bathroom, excellent breakfast in a lovely dining room. We didn’t have dinner here but wish we had as the restaurant looked amazing. Also a great location - very quiet and peaceful yet only a short distance from the centre of town. Will certainly stay here again if we get the chance
My wife and I had booked the Mount Edgcumbe to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were very impressed with our room and the amenities. The pub is very nice and the food was amazing.
As an overall experience it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and the room comfortable and well presented. Breakfast again was well presented and tasty. The only negative comment is that parking is limited.
Classic Old Building with Great Interior and Staff
Stayed here for one night after landing at Gatwick as it was a reletiveky short distance away. The building is lovely, in a very quiet area. The rooms are classic for an older property with sloping floors, that took some getting use to, but added to the character.
The restaurant and bar were great, very bespoke design and stylish, but as the weather was good we got to sit on the terrace. The food was exceptional but only ecliosed by the staff.
They were freindly, helpful polite and could not do enough.
Overall this is a great place to staff, if not to visit and if it were closer to home we would be there all the time.
Charming little inn with one of the best breakfasts the I have ever had. You can walk anywhere in Tunbridge Wells from here and enjoy the park grounds.
Beautiful, old, slightly quirky but charming property - excellent staff and great food, can't speak highly enough of the place, may well return to Tonbridge Wells just to stay there again, but the town has plenty going for it too..
